INTRODCTION

This camera is a high-definition digital motion video recording device, created to reach market demand. It has a wide variety of the leading features for digital video recording, photo shooting, audio recording. Best suitable for vehicle recording, outdoor sports and more related activities. Allowing you to enjoy the moments while capturing every scene anytime, anywhere.

GETTING STARTED

Hello!
Welcome to your new camera. To capture video and photos, you need a micro SD card (sold separately).

■ Micro SD Cards
Use brand name memory cards that meet these requirements:

  • micro SD, micro SDHC, or micro SDXC
  • Class 10 or UHS-I rating
  • Capacity up to 64GB (FAT32)

Tips:

  • Please format the micro SD card first in this camera before using.
  • To keep your micro SD card in good condition, reformat it on a regular basis. Reformatting erases all of your content, so be sure to offload your photos and videos first.
  • FAT32 format Micro SD card stops recording when the storage of each file is over 4 GB and starts to record again on a new file.

■ Powering ON + OFF
To Power ON:
Press and hold the Power Button for seconds to the screen on.The camera beeps while the camera status light is on.
When information appears on the LCD display or the camera status screen, your camera is on.
To Power OFF:
Press and hold the Power Button for seconds to the screen off.The camera is shuttled down while the camera status light is off.

■ Recording Video
To Start Recording:
Press the Shutter Button. The operation Indicator will flash while recording.
To Stop Recording:
Press the Shutter Button. The operation Indicator will stop flashing to indicate recording has stopped.
■ PHOTO
To take a photo:
In the Photo mode, Press the Shutter Button. The camera will emit the camera shutter sound.

OVERVIEW OF MODES

There are 5 modes: Video, Photo, Video Playback, Photo Playback and System Settings.

  • Switching modes
    In Video Mode, slide vertically up or down on the screen to Switch Mode.

  • Video Mode Video Mode is the default mode when you turn on the camera.
    In Video Mode, press Shutter Button shortly, the camera starts recording video. Press Shutter button shortly again to stop recording video.

  • Photo Mode In Photo Mode, press Shutter Button shortly, the camera takes a photo.

  • Video Playback Mode In Video Playback Mode, the video recorded on this camera can be directly played back or deleted.

  • Photo Playback Mode In Photo Playback Mode,you can playback or deleted your photos.

  • System Setting Mode In System Setting Mode, quickly slide vertically up or down on the screen to flip page, tap the desired option to set.

CUSTOMZING YOUR CAMERA

Verify the camera is in Video Mode, slide vertically up on the screen to enter Setting Mode. In the Settings Mode, swipe up or down on the screen to flip the page, tap the desired option and you will enter into the sub-menu of the option, then tap quickly the desired option in the sub-menu to select your desired option.

Wi-Fi APP

The Wi-Fi App lets you control your camera remotely using a smart phone. Features include full camera control, live preview,playback and sharing of selected content and more.

Connect to the Wi-Fi App

  1. Press the Power Button to power the camera ON.
  2. Enter to Setting Mode and turn on Wi-Fi setting, then wait for 3-5seconds, the Wi-Fi icon and Wi-Fi SSID & password will show on the screen.
  3. Connect to the Wi-Fi SSID called “LIVE DV_XXXX(Random serial number)”in your phone ’s Wi-Fi setting.
  4. Enter the password”12345678”
  5. Launch the LIVE DV App on your smart phone.
  6. Press the Power Button again to turn off Wi-Fi.

Note: If there is no operation within 10 seconds, the camera will automatically enter screen saver mode to save power.
You can press the power button to wake up the screen.

PLAYING BACK YOUR CONTENT

Playing back on camera

  1. Enter Video or Photo playback mode. If your SD card contains a lot of content, it might take a minute for it to load.
  2. Slide quickly up or down on the screen to scroll through the video or photo files.
  3. Tap the target file to locate it and the target file will be highlighted in a yellow frame.
  4. Tap the target file again or press Shutter Button to playback.
  5. To exit the gallery, press the return icon.

Playing back on Computer/TV

Method 1: Transfer your files to a computer /TV by card reader.
Method 2: Connect the camera to the computer through a data cable include.

Notes:

  • This camera might not be compatible with the files from different solution camera or other device.
  • Playback resolution depends on the resolution of the device and its ability to play back that resolution.
  • The quick time player is a good compatibility with MOV format video files. We strongly recommend using the quick time player player to play back video files on your computer.

BATTERY
Avoid exposing the camera to extremely cold or hot temperatures. Low or high temperature conditions may temporarily shorten the battery life or cause the camera to temporarily stop working properly.

CHARGING THE BATTERY

  1. Connect the camera to USB power supply (5V 1-2A commended).
  2. The charging status light remains ON while the battery is charging.
  3. The charging status light will turn OFF when the battery is fully charged.

Notes:

  • Charging time: 2-3hours for 5V 1-2A power supply
  • Please make sure the camera is shuttled down while charging.

MAXIMIZING BATTERY LIFE
If the battery reaches 0% while recording, the camera saves the file and powers off.
To maximize battery life, follow these guidelines when possible:

  • Turn off Wireless Connections
  • Capture video at lower frame rates and resolutions

Note: If there is no operation within 10 seconds, the camera will automatically enter screen saver mode to save power.
You can press the power button to wake up the screen.

SAFETY WARNINGS

  • This is a 4K action camera, It is normal for the housing to exert heat under use. Don’t expose the product directly to high temperatures over 50°C.
  • It require a name band Class10 or higher micro SD card,Format your SD card on the camera first before using.
  • Keep it safe from falling and dropping.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the camera.
  • Keep it distance from any strong magnetic interference objects like electrical machine to avoid strong radio waves that might be damaging the product and affect the sound or image quality.
  • Keep the camera away from water and liquids. This may cause the the camera to malfunction.
  • Don’t place your Micro SD card near strong magnetic objects to avoid data error or loss.
  • In case of overheating, unwanted smoke or unpleasant smell from the device, unplug it immediately from the power outlet to prevent hazardous fire.
  • Keep it safety from children while on charging.
  • Stored the device in a cool, dry and dust free location.
  • Do not attempt to open the case of the camera or modify it in any way,if the camera has been detached,the warranty will be void.
