Product Information

The M08F is a Bluetooth printer that allows users to print images and documents from their mobile phones. It offers various features such as adjustable brightness settings, printing templates, and the ability to print on different paper rolls.

Product Usage Instructions

Bluetooth Problem
  1. Unable to link Bluetooth
  2. Make sure that the Bluetooth on the drop-down page is turned on and then connect the printer in the Phomemo APP.
  3. Ensure that all permissions were allowed when installing the app or turn them on in the phone’s Settings.
  4. Try restarting the printer and phone.
  5. Reinstall Phomemo App or download Phomemo on another mobile phone to see if it can connect to the printer.
  6. Show link failed
  7. Try restarting the printer and phone.
  8. Double-click the power button to print out the QR code, and scan the code in the APP to connect.
  9. Download Phomemo with another mobile phone to see if it can connect to the printer.
  10. Provide the serial number of the printer.
  11. Provide the model and system version of the mobile phone, as well as the version of the APP.
Printing Effect
  1. The printed picture is too dark
  2. Enter the Print Images page in the app.
  3. Click Adjustment to adjust the brightness of the picture. Try different brightness settings and click Print to preview the image to find the best brightness for printing.
  4. The quality of picture printing is related to the original picture. Your original picture may be dark. Try printing the template in the app to check the print quality.
  5. Try replacing other pictures to print.
  6. Print tomography
  7. Remove the paper roll holder and put the paper roll directly into the printer for printing. If it can print normally, it may be because the paper roll support is not installed correctly, please re-install the paper roll.
  8. The problem may be caused by the transmission speed of Bluetooth. Try printing on another phone to see if the issue persists.

Bluetooth problem

  3. Please try restarting the printer and phone.
  4. Please try to reinstall Phomemo App or download Phomemo on another mobile phone to see if it can connect to the printer.

APP cannot search for Bluetooth

  1. Please check if the printer can be viewed in the Bluetooth list of the mobile phone system.
  2. Please try restarting the printer and phone.
  3. Please try to download Phomemo with another mobile phone to see if it can connect to the printer.
  4. Please provide us with the serial number of the printer. The serial number is started with a Q and can be found on the printer’s barcode sticker.
  5. Please provide the model and system version of the mobile phone, as well as the version of the APP.

Show link failed

  1. Please try restarting the printer and phone.
  2. Please double-click the power button to print out the QR code, and scan the code in the APP to connect.

printing effect

The printing is not clear/grainy

  1. Please increase the print density in the APP.
  2. Please try to clean the print head.Wipe the cutting part of the printer, especially the black line, with alcohol cotton to ensure no dirt on the print head.
  3. Most of the poor printing results are printed with low quality source files. Please try to print the template in the APP and send a photo of the printed template for us to check.
  4. try to replace another roll of paper for printing. It may be damp and affect the printing quality.
  5. Please check the battery of the printer, If it is less than 10%, please charge it in time.

The printed picture is too dark

  1. Please enter the “Print Images” page.

Print blank

  1. Please check if your paper roll is thermal paper.
  2. Please check whether the front and back of the thermal paper is misplaced. (For stickers, the tearable side should face up.For non-stick paper, the side showing black line after you scratch on the paper roll with your fingernail should face up.)
  3. Please double-click the power button to print out the QR code.
  4. It’s possible the print head is stuck, you can try pressing hard to see if the print head bounces back.
  5. If it still does not work ,would you please provide the serial number of the printer for us?(The serial number starting with “Q” is on the box of the printer)

hardware problems

Charging is abnormal

  1. Please try to use other data cables and a 5V-2A charging head to charge to see whether the printer could charge normally. Could you please charge the printer for 1 hour and then try to turn it on?
  2. Please check the power of the printer before charging it fully. Then use the printer for half an hour and check the battery.
  3. Try using a paper clip or a pinhole-like tool to poke the round hole next to the charging port while charging. Then restart the printer after charging for half an hour and see if it works properly.

Unable to turn on

  2. If it still fails to start up, you can try to replace another data cable and charging head with specifications of 5V-2A. After half an hour of charging, check to see if you can turn it on.

Automatic shutdown

  1. Please connect the printer to the APP, and click on the upper right corner of the home page. Then click on the connected printer model in the list to enter the “Manage Devices” page. And you can check whether automatic shutdown time is set.
  2. The power is too low, phomemo shuts down automatically,please charge it in time.

The red light is solid / the indicator light is flashing

  1. Please open the paper bin and pull the paper to the outside of the body and close the paper bin.
  2. The power is less than 10%,please charge it in time.
  3. The paper bin isn ’ t completely closed(the App will prompt ” open paper bin”).Please firmly close the printer cover.
  4. The print head is overheated,please turn off the printer and wait for a while before using it.
  5. You can follow the methods to learn the labels.First, turn on the printer and do not put any labels.Secondly, long press the power button for 10-20 seconds until the printer’s light flashes twice, and then release the power button to complete the learning label.Finally, reload the label and long press the power button to turn it on.

M08F can not detect paper

APP problems

APP flashback/unable to load/incomplete

  1. It may be that the memory of the phone is insufficient, so please try to clear the data of the apps opened in the background, and then open the app.
  2. When installing the device, please select “allow” for all permissions applied for by the application. For those permissions not selected during installation, please turn on the application function in the Settings of the phone and allow all permissions.

If it still does not work, please provide us with the information below to check.

  1. The model and system version of your phone.
  2. The APP version.
  3. The serial number starts with the Q of the printer. We will feedback to our technician for analysis.

Unable to load template/icon/only one font

  1. Please switch the network to ensure that the network is normal.
  2. Please switch the language setting to English in the APP. Then try to see if it can be loaded normally.
  3. Please try to uninstall the APP and reinstall it.

Lack of functionality

  1. Please connect the printer in the APP. After the connection is successful, the APP will automatically match the page of the printer of the corresponding model.
  2. Please try to use other mobile phones to download Phomemo to connect to the printer to see if the function is complete.

Usage issues

  1. whether it can print remotely
    In fact, because our printer is connected via Bluetooth, the use of the printer will be affected by the distance factor. Currently our printer does not support remote printing.

  2. Whether third-party software can be used
    Our printer needs to be connected to the corresponding APP [Phomemo] to use, and it does not support connecting to third-party software to print.

  3. Can you print on iPad
    Our APP is mainly used for mobile phone connection. If you use a tablet, there will be compatibility problems, resulting in failure to connect to the printer or missing printing. We suggest you use your mobile phone to download the APP and use it.

  4. Can it be used on the computer
    Currently, M08F Wireless Portable Printer only supports Bluetooth connection through the phone, not matter IOS or Android.

  5. How to print in color

  7. If you only need to delete a saved note, you can press and hold the label you want to delete and swipe to the left,it will appear “Click the Delete button” (For iPhone) or “Delete” (For Android). In addition, if you want to save the label, it can only be saved in Drafts.

  8. Or you can click the trash can icon in the upper right corner of the app to clear all saved templates.

  9. How to import PDF/Word/TXT printing

  10. Open the file you want to print and send it to the Phomemo APP to print it.

  12. M08F can use ordinary paper

    • I would like to explain to you that the M08F is a thermal printer. Thermal printing (or direct thermal printing) is a process that produces a printed image by selectively heating thermal paper when the paper passes the thermal print head.
    • Therefore, M08F needs to be printed on 8.26″x11.69″ A4 Thermal Paper. Ordinary paper without a thermal layer cannot be printed.
  13. iOS automatically opens files with Phomemo
    iOS will automatically default the path to open the file. If you want to use other software to open the file, you need to press and hold the file, then click Share, and select the App you want to open the file.
