DARCHE GEN III Eclipse Transit Cover
Product Information
The GEN III Eclipse Transit Cover is a replacement cover designed for awnings. It is compatible with the Eclipse awning and Tropical Transit Cover models. The transit cover is made from durable materials, tested and designed in Australia for Australian outdoor conditions. It is manufactured by Charles Parsons, a trusted brand in outdoor design.

INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Fully unzip your transit cover and remove the 4 screws securing the transit cover to the base of the awning. Slide the transit cover out from the sailtracks.
If you have an ECO Eclipse awning or a Tropical Transit Cover the rectangular backing plates at each end of the awning must also be removed before removing the transit cover. Replace and loosely attach the backing plates. -
STEP 2
Place your awning in the replacement transit cover. Ensure that the cover is not twisted, the zip is at the bottom of the awning, and that it does not require undue force to fully zip up the cover.

STEP 3
Cut a pair of perpendicular incisions in the transit cover at each location corresponding with the 8mm bolts for the backing plate (8 total). The incisions should be as small as possible while allowing the 8mm bolts to be pushed through. It is recommended that this step be done with the transit cover fully zipped up. -
STEP 4
Remove the backing plates from the awning and reattach them on the outside of the transit cover. -
STEP 5
Unzip the transit cover and insert the awning mounting bolts into the mounting channels after removing the rubber grommets. Locate the bolts to suit your vehicle and roof rack then cut a pair of perpendicular incisions in the transit cover at each location corresponding with the mounting bolts. Re- insert the grommets.

STEP 6
Attach your mounting brackets to your awning.
