Important Safeguards

Read these instructions carefully and retain them for future use. If this sleeping bag is passed to a third party, then these instructions must be included.

When using the product, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of injury including the following:

Be cautious when opening/closing the sleeping bag. Keep hands and hair away from the zippers to prevent them from being pinched.
Do not use this sleeping bag if any parts are missing, damaged, or worn.
Regularly examine the sleeping bag for wear and tear. Stop using the sleeping bag at first sign of damage.
Do not store sharp or pointed objects in or around the sleeping bag.
Inspect the area underneath and around the sleeping bag and remove any pointed objects, such as rocks, branches, before use.
Do not expose the sleeping bag to extreme conditions such as heat and cold.
Keep the sleeping bag away from open flames.

Intended Use

For camping use only.
Refer to chapter Temperature Range (Fig. 1), for range of temperatures in which the sleeping bag can be used:
T comf Comfort temperature 50 °F (10 °C)
T lim Limit temperature 33 °F (1 °C)
T ext Extreme temperature 27 °F (-3 °C)
1 transition range 33 °F (1 °C) to 50 °F (10 °C)
2 risk range 27 °F (-3 °C) to 33 °F (1 °C)
WARNING — In the risk range, a strong sensation of cold must be expected.
There is a risk of health damage by hypothermia.
Use a sleeping pad (not included) in cold and damp weather conditions.

Before First Use

Risk of suffocation!
Keep any packaging materials, the pack sack and sleeping bag away from children and pets – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. suffocation.

Remove all the packing materials.
Remove and review all components before use.
Check the sleeping bag for transport damages.

Cleaning and Storage

Cleaning

To clean the sleeping bag, wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Never use corrosive detergents, wire brushes, abrasive scourers, metal or sharp utensils to clean the sleeping bag.

Washing instructions

For care instructions, refer to the care tag attached to the sleeping bag.

Storage

Wash and fully dry the sleeping bag before storage.
Store in a cool and dry place away from children and pets, ideally in original packaging and pack sack (Fig. 3).

Disposal

Dispose of the product according to local regulations. If in doubt, consult your local authorities.
