Safety Information

1. The device is recommended for use indoors and in a dry location only.
2. The device shall be used within its published power rating on the instructions.
3. Please contact seller for replacement if there is any damage caused by transportation.
4. Please plug in the socket in proper condition and away from children.
5. Please plug in the socket fully while using for safety concern.

Installation Guide

1. Download the Meross app.
2. Plug MSS426 into an outlet near main Wi-Fi.*
   • • MSS426 only supports 2.4GHz networks.
   • • Proximity to main Wi-Fi is required only during the initial setup process.

Set up the device

1. Make sure your smart device is covered by strong Wi-Fi signal.
2. Launch the Meross app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.
3. Tap the”+” icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.
4. Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with strong Wi-Fi signal.

NOTE

1. If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going any further.

1. What devices can I control with the Smart Surge Protector?
   • You can control lights, fans, humidifiers, portable heaters and any small appliances in accordance with the MSS426’s specifications (up to 13A output).
2. What if I can’t control the smart device with the Meross app?
   • You can troubleshoot the following
   • Check if your home Wi-Fi is working properly.
   • Make sure that you have disabled access control in your router and that the smart device is not blocked by the router’s firmware.
   • Factory reset your smart device and try to add it again.
