Product Information

The product is a multimedia projector that allows users to project various types of content such as videos, music, images, and text files. It supports multiple input sources including HD, AV, VGA, Screen Miracast, USB-Movie- Music-Photo-TEXT. The projector also has settings for picture, sound, projection, time, and setup to enhance the viewing experience.

Product Usage Instructions

Input Source Switching:

  1. Select the appropriate input source by using the promote control or pressing the keys on the operational panel of the projector.
  2. Press the S key on the projector to enter the Input Source Interface. Select AV, HD, VGA, MEDIA, or Screen as your input source.

Play A Video:

  1. Select “Movie” on the main screen and press the OK key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the button on the operation panel to select the equipment for video storage. Press the OK key to proceed.
  3. To view video content, stay the cursor on the selected video for over 3 seconds. Supported video formats include MP4, RMVB, AVI, RM, and MKV.

Play Music:

  1. Select “Music” on the main screen and press the OK key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the button on the operation panel to select the equipment for music storage. Press the OK key to proceed.
  3. Supported audio formats for music playing include MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, FLAC, APE, and WAV.

Play Image:

  1. Select “Photo” on the main screen and press the OK key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the button on the operation panel to select the equipment for image storage. Press the OK key to proceed.
  3. Supported image formats for image playing include JPG/JPEG, BMP, and PNG.

Play A Text:

  1. Select “TEXT” on the main screen and press the OK key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the button on the operation panel to select the equipment for text storage. Press the OK key to proceed.
  3. Only text formats are supported for this function.

Projection Settings:

  1. Select “Set-up” on the main screen and press the OK key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the button on the operation panel to select the range of settings (Picture, Sound, Projection, Time, Setup).
  3. Adjust picture settings by pressing the and buttons on the operation panel. Press the OK key to confirm.
  4. Adjust sound settings by pressing the and buttons on the operation panel. Press the OK key to confirm.
  5. Adjust projection settings by pressing the and buttons on the operation panel. Press the OK key to confirm.
  6. Press the Menu button of the remote control to return to the previous screen.

Note:
Do not open the enclosure to avoid electric shock. No components in the projector can be repaired by customers. Please entrust qualified professional maintenance personnel for repair.

The identification warns users of the voltage without insulating treatment in the projector, which may cause electric shock via surface magnetic field. Therefore, it’s very dangerous to contact with any component inside the projector.

The following safety instructions ensure the long service life of the projector to avoid fire or electric shock. Make sure to carefully read them and pay attention to all the following warnings.

  • Do not install the projector in sites with improper ventilation.

  • Do not install the projector in hot and humid sites

  • Do not block the ventilation holes (intake or exhaust)

  • Do not install the projector in dust and smoke sites.

  • Do not install the projector near the temperature and smoke transducer.
    It may cause a sensor failure.

  • Do not install the projector in sites with direct blowing of warm and cool air-condition wind increment

Installation

  • Please use the projector in a dark room for best results.
  • Please use the projector with caution to avoid dropping or shocking, which may damage the internal components.

Power Supply

  • Use the power cord with caution to avoid unduly bending. Damaged power cord may cause electric shock or fire.
  • Unplug the power cord from the outlet after using the projector.

Cleaning

  • Unplug the power cord from the projector.
  • Use a wet cloth to clean the cabinet regularly. Neutral detergent may be used for serious smudge. Do not use strong detergent or solvent such as alcohol or diluent.
  • Use an air brush or lens paper to clean the lens and be careful not to scratch or abrade them.
  • Please clean the ventilation opening and the loudspeaker regularly with a cleaner. The projector will be overheated with blocked dust, causing the failure.
  • Please use the projector with a soft brush. Do not use rigid accessories, such as a crevice cleaning tool, to avoid damage to the projector.

Moving

  • Please use soft package materials and attach the lens cover to protect the lens when moving the projector.
    Also, do not impose severe mechanical vibration on the projector.

High Temperature Warning

  • During and after the projection, the temperature near the outlet will rise, therefore touching may cause burns. Do not peep at the lens, or it may cause severe eye injury.

Installed Away from Walls

  • Please leave at least 30cm from the wall to maintain the projector’s performance and reliability.

Get to Know the Remote Control (Multimedia Version)

! Attentions:
Please be careful when operating the remote control. Do not drop or tread on the remote control, or splash any kind of liquid into the remote control.
Do not place the remote control near a heat source, in a place exposed to direct sunlight or in a damp room.

How to install and debug a projector quickly

Installation and Debugging

  1. Install the Projector
    You can choose to place the projector on the horizontal plane or attach it to a hanging bracket. Attentions:
    The hanging bracket is an accessory that is not supplied.

  2. Adjust the Focal Length Adjust the projector’s keystone correction ring and the focusing ring to obtain a satisfactory image.
    It is recommended to adjust the keystone correction ring in case of keystone distortion in the image (Figure 1 on the right).
    When the screen image is blurred (Figure 2 on the right),
    it is recommended to adjust the focus ring to improve the picture definition.
    Please move forward or backward proportionally in case the adjustment is unable to obtain the satisfactory definition.

  3. Adjust the image projected on the screen
    ! Attentions:
    Change the projection mode in from the projector isha real projection system Check the horizontal and vertical screen settings

  4. Please move the project to one side in case of left or right screen offsets. (Align the screen center to the projector lens center)

  5. Please adjust with front adjuster for vertical offsets.

  6. Please place the projector on a horizontal plane for angle offsets.

  7. The projection screen as shown in the figure indicates the projector is not align to the screen. Please adjust the projector’s location to align to the screen.

  8. Safe Shutdown

  9. Use the key on the remote control to shutdown the projector.

  10. Press and hold the key © on the control panel to shutdown the projector.

  11. Press the soft key  on the Port and shutdown the projector according to the prompts (only effective for smart Android version).

  12. Please unplug the power cord after the projector shutdowns to save energy.Press and hold the key on the control panel to shutdown the projector.

Start Using

Input Source Switching

  1. Select the appropriate input source (HD, AV, VGA, Screen Miracast, USB-Movie-Music-Photo-TEXT) in the menu (as shown in the Figure on the following) using the promote control or pressing the keys on the operational panel of the projector.
  2. Press the “S” key on the projector and enter the Input Source Interface. You can select AV, HD, VGA, MEDIA, Screen as your input source.

Play A Video

Video files on the USB device can be played in the following steps.

  1. To play a video file, first select “Movie” on the main screen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the “<” and “>” on the operation panel to select the equipment for video storage. Press the “OK” key to enter the next step. Attention: The video content can be viewed by staying the cursor on the selected video for over 3 seconds. Only MP4, RMVB, AVI, RM. MKV and other video formats are supported in video playing.

Play Music

Music files on the USB memory device can be played in the following steps.

  1. To play a music file, first select “Music” on the main screen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the “<” and “>” on the operation panel to select the equipment for Music storage. Press the “OK” key to enter the next step. Attention: Only audio formats such as MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC, FLAC, APE, WAV etc. are supported for video playing.

Play Image

Image files on the USB memory device can be played in the following steps.

  1. To play an image file, first select “Photo” on the main screen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the “<” and “>” on the operation panel to select the equipment for image storage. Press the “OK” key to enter the next step. Attention: Only JPG/JPEG, BMP, PNG and other image formats are supported for image playing.

Play A Text

Text files on the USB memory device can be played in the following steps.

  1. To play Text files, first select “TEXT” on the main screen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.
  2. Press the “<” and “>” on the operation panel to select the equipment for TEXT storage. Press the “OK” key to enter the next step. Attention: Only text formats are supported for this function.

Projection Settings (Multimedia Version)

Get a better viewing effect with appropriate settings. The main content of the projection can be set in the following steps.

  1. If needs setting, first select “Set-up” on the main screen, and then press the “OK” key on the operation panel.

  2. “Picture”, “Sound”, “Projection “, “Time”, “Setup” can be set. Press the “<” and “>” on the operation panel to select the range of settings.

  3. Picture Setting
    Set up your projector and get the best picture. Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select the best picture settings. Press the “OK” key to confirm. Press the Menu button of the remote control to return.

  4. Sound Setting
    Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select your best sound. Press the “OK” key to confirm. Press the Menu button of the remote control to return.

  5. Projection Setting
    Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select your best projection setting. Press the “OK” key to confirm. Press the Menu button of the remote control to return.

  6. Time Setting
    Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select your time setting. Press the “OK” key to confirm. Press the Menu button of the remote control to return.

  7. Setup Setting
    Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select your settings. Press the “OK” key to confirm. Press the Menu button of the remote control to return. (SETUP) (HDMI CEC Control) ( RESET)

IOS CAST – Wireless Connection

1. Streaming with your router’ s Wi-Fi (wireless connection)

  • Turn on the projector, select “Screen” as the input source to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring.
  • Select IOS CAST to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring of IOS System.
  • Click the “Network Setup” to connect your home wifi or Go to the setting of your projector and connect it to your home WiFi.
  • Select your home WIFI to make sure that the projector connect to the same WiFi to your phone. Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select the correct WiFi.
  • Press the “OK” key to enter the password page.
  • Get back to the Wi- Fi setting of your iOS mobile device, then connect it to the same router’s Wi-Fi,
  • Swipe up the screen of your iOS mobile device and tap Screen Mirroring to search for the projector, then select WJ-XXXX from the searching results to connect.
  • The display of your iOS mobile device will be projected to the wall/screen via wifi after a successful connection.

Android Miracast (wireless connection)

To activate this function, your android device must support Multi- Screen/Wireless display. Names may differ from different devices.

  • Turn on the projector, select Screen as the Input Source
  • Select Screen to enter the interface of Screen Mirroring of Android System.
  • Click the “Network Setup” to connect your home wifi or Go to the setting of your projector and connect it to your home WiFi. Select your home WIFI to make sure that the projector connect to the same WiFi to your phone. Press the “∧” and “∨” on the operation panel to select the correct WiFi. Press the “OK” key to enter the password page.
  • The display of your Android mobile device will be projected to the wall/screen via wifi after a successful connection.

CAUTION No components that can be repaired by users exist in the projector. Do not open the projector without authorization to avoid electric shock. Contact your authorized professionals for repair as needed.
