- Once separated, extend the Barlow to its full capacity.
- Point the objective lens towards the object you want to observe and look through the eyepiece. Slightly push the Barlow into focus, and continue until the object appears clearest. If necessary, pull the Barlow slightly outward again if you pushed it in too much. Gradually push or pull the Barlow to bring the image into focus.
- To make micro-adjustments and prevent the scope from sliding in or out erratically, turn the Barlow while pulling it in/out (refer to Figure 2).
Taking Care Of Your Spyscope
- When wiping the lenses, use the cloth provided with the Spyscope. If no cloth is provided, use a soft, lint-free cloth.
- If there is remaining dirt or smudges, add one or two drops of Isopropyl Alcohol to the cloth.
- When not in use, store your Spyscope in a dry, moisture-free environment.
IMPORTANT: Do not attempt to clean your Spyscope internally or take it apart.
