Tap Adaptor| For 3/4” Taps: Attach the 3/4” tap adaptor to the tap. For
1” Taps: Remove the 3/4” tap adaptor and attach the 1” tap
connector directly to the tap.
Filter| Traps dirt particles and prolongs the life of the timer. Clean
the filter regularly.
LCD Display| Displays information such as clock time, battery status, and
program settings.
Sensor Connection Socket| Allows connection to a rain or moisture sensor to
skip watering
during rainy days or when the soil is too wet.
Male Snap-On Connectors| Used to connect hose attachments.
Product Usage Instructions
- Insert 2 AA alkaline batteries into the battery compartment.
- Attach the appropriate tap adaptor (3/4” or 1”) to your tap.
- Set the clock time by turning the dial to the “SET CLOCK” position and using the + or – button to adjust the time. Confirm the settings by pressing the OK button.
- Choose the watering frequency by turning the dial to the “HOW OFTEN” position. Use the + or – button to adjust the frequency and press the L/R button to choose the left or right valve.
- Set the start time for watering by turning the dial to the “START TIME” position. Use the + or – button to adjust the time and press the L/R button to choose the left or right valve. Confirm the settings by pressing the OK button.
- Turn the dial to the “RUN” position to save the settings. The timer will water according to the programmed time, frequency, and run time. Take note of the settings for reference.
- To adjust the watering duration, turn the dial to the “HOW LONG” position. Use the + or – button to adjust the duration and press the L/R button to choose the left or right valve.
- To delay watering due to rain, follow these steps:
- With the dial in the “RUN” position and the program saved, press the + button to delay for 0, 24, 48, or 72 hours. Both valves share the same delay.
- The delay will start within 5 seconds if no more changes are made. Alternatively, save the delay settings by pressing the OK button.
- The screen will flash between clock time and the remaining hours before the program resumes.
- To remove the rain delay, turn the dial to the “OFF” position and then back to “RUN”.
COMPONENTS INCLUDED
- BATTERY COMPARTMENT
- Slide out the battery compartment (1), and insert 2x (LR6/AA) 1.5V alkaline batteries.
- Use only fresh alkaline batteries at the beginning of the season.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- When batteries are inserted, the LCD display will show clock time.
- Turn the Dial to the OFF position before connecting to the tap.
- 3/4’’ TAP ADAPTOR
- 1’’ TAP CONNECTOR
- For 1’’ Taps: Remove the 3/4’’ tap adaptor (2) and attach the 1’’ tap connector (3) directly to the tap.
- DO NOT use spanners or pliers to avoid damage to the timer.
- FILTER
- Traps dirt particles and prolongs the life of the timer. Clean the filter regularly.
- LCD DISPLAY
- When the LCD displays the “Low Battery” sign flashes, remove the battery compartment and wait for 60 seconds until the screen clears before inserting new batteries.

- When the Dial is at the START TIME/HOW LONG/HOW OFTEN position, or when Set to ECO and manual watering, press the button to choose the Left or Right valve.
- BUTTON
- With the dial-in RUN position, press the ECO button to split the watering duration into smaller watering cycles, with soak time in between.
- BUTTON (ON/OFF)
- When the dial is in the RUN position, press the manual on/off button to set manual watering from 0-240 minutes.
- RESET
- Reset the timer to factory default settings.
- SENSOR CONNECTION SOCKET
- Rain or moisture sensor connection, to skip watering during rainy days or when soil is too wet.

PROGRAMMING THE TIMER
CLOCK SET
- Turn the Dial to the SET CLOCK position, and Press the + or – Button to advance or reverse clock time. Confirm settings by pressing the OK button.
START TIME
- Turn the Dial to the START TIME position, and Press the + or – Button to advance or reverse the start time. Press the L/R button to choose the Left or Right valve. Confirm settings by pressing the OK button.
HOW LONG
- Turn the Dial to the HOW LONG position, Press the + or – Button to advance or reverse start time, and press the L/R button to choose the Left or Right valve. (1-240 minutes)
HOW OFTEN
- Turn Dial to HOW OFTEN position, Press + or – Button to advance or reverse watering frequency and press L/R button to choose Left or Right valve.
RUN
- Turn Dial to RUN position, to save settings. The timer waters according to programmed time, frequency and run time. Screen will flash between clock time and next watering time. Take note of the settings for reference.
RAIN DELAY
- With the dial in RUN position and program saved, press the + button to delay for 0, 24, 48 or 72 hours. Both valves share the same delay.
- Delay will start within 5 seconds if no more change are made, or save the delay settings by pressing the OK button.
- Screen will flash between clock time and hours remaining before program resumes.
- To remove rain delay, turn the dial to OFF and then back to RUN.
EXAMPLE 1
- How Long (watering duration) setting is 10 minutes, and you want the timer to hold on watering for 2 minutes in every 5 minutes watering, in other words, to water for 5 minutes and stop for 2 minutes to allow water to soak into soil.
- You set the ECO to Every 5 min and Delay 2 min.
- (Total watering duration is still same as the set How Long, which in this case is 10 minutes).
ECO
- ECO is to split the set watering duration into smaller watering cycles with soak time in between.
- A. When the Dial is at the RUN position, press the ECO button, adjust with the + or – Button to set into smaller watering duration(EVERY) and soak time(DELAY) for the left valve and confirm settings by pressing the OK button.
- B. Then press the ECO button and L/R button to set ECO for the right valve, and confirm settings by pressing the OK button.
- C. To remove the ECO, set the EVERY into —, or set the DELAY to OFF.
EXAMPLE 2
- To split left valve watering duration into water for every 5 minutes and soak for 2 minutes, and right valve watering duration into water for every 10 minutes and soak for 5 minutes, the settings would be:

MANUAL WATERING
Manual watering is for one-time instant watering without interrupting the set program.
- A. Press the Manual ON/OFF button and then press the + or – Button to set from 0 to 240 minutes for a left valve.
- B. Press the L/R Button to choose the right valve, and then press the + or – Button to set from 0 to 240 minutes for the right valve.
- C. Manual watering will start ONLY after the setting is confirmed by pressing the OK button.
- A screen will flash between clock time and minutes remaining before the program resumes.
- To remove manual watering, turn the dial to OFF, or simply press the Manual ON/OFF button.
- To resume the set program, turn the dial back to RUN.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT
PROTECTING THE TIMER
- This timer is designed for outdoor use to control sprinklers or irrigation systems for watering. It can not be used for industrial purposes or be in contact with food, chemicals, and pesticides.
- Operating water pressure is from 0.5 bar to 8 bars (7 psi to 116 psi).
- Use with clean and fresh water only – Maximum Temperature 60ºC and Minimum Temperature 1ºC.
- Protect the timer during the winter season or freezing conditions. Remove from tap and drain water inside, remove batteries, and keep indoors.
- The timer is water resistant, NOT waterproof. The timer must be installed above ground and vertically to the tap. DO NOT submerge it in water.
- DO NOT pull the hose while attached to the timer.
