Device layout

Turning the device on and off

Follow all posted warnings and directions from authorized personnel in areas where the use of wireless devices is restricted, such as airplanes and hospitals.
Turning the device on
Press and hold the Side key for a few seconds to turn on the device.
When you turn on your device for the first time or after performing a data reset, follow the on-screen instructions to set up your device.
Turning the device off

1. Toturn off the device, press and hold the Side key and the Volume Down key simultaneously. Alternatively, open the notification panel and tap
2. Tap Power off.
   To restart the device, tap Restart.
   You can set the device to turn off when you press and hold the Side key. Launch the Settings app, tap Advanced features — Side key, and then tap Power off menu

Charging the battery

Charge the battery before using it for the first time or when it has been unused for extended periods.
 Only use a Samsung-approved battery, charger, and cable specifically designed for your device. An incompatible battery, charger, or cable can cause serious injuries or damage to your device.

• **** Connecting the charger improperly may cause serious damage to the device. Any damage caused by misuse is not covered by the warranty.
• Only use the USB Type-C cable supplied with the device. The device may be damaged if you use a Micro USB cable.

To save energy, unplug the charger when not in use. The charger does not have a power switch, so you must unplug the charger from the electric socket when not in use to avoid wasting power. The charger should remain close to the electric socket and easily accessible while charging.

1. Connect the USB cable to the USB power adapter.
2. Plug the USB cable into the device’s multipurpose jack.

Magnifying with Your NuVision Tablet

1. Please press the Active Yellow Tab or NuVision icon on the home screen to start the application.
2. To increase magnification, press the middle button on the right- or left-hand side depending on setup that shows the following symbol:

Changing Contrast with Your NuVision Tablet

1. To change contrast: Press the red icon:

The contrasts will cycle through 5 levels of contrast.Contrast Button

Using OCR-Text to Speech with the NuVision Tablet

1. To use the OCR feature: Press and hold down the top icon symbol: The OCR will start on its own.To stop the OCR, press the same button.

Turn the Light On and Off:

1.  To Turn the NuVision Tablets light on or off please press the  icon.

Using Your Pro 3e Smart Glasses with the NuVision Tablet

1.  Whether you are using the NuVision tablet with or without the magnification feature the Pro 3e is a great addition for extended viewing. Simply plug the glasses in to the USB port and they will start up immediately. (see below)

NuVision Voice Commands

We are excited to now offer voice commands on the NuVision Tablet. After you have started your NuVision application you can now use your voice to control the functionality. Please see below a list of commands:

1. Magnify in- “Zoom in”
2. Magnify Out- “Zoom Out”
3. Change Contrast- “Change Filter”
4. OCR- “Read Text”
5. Light on/off- “Flash on” or “Flash off.”

Warranty Tips
The Limited Warranty does not cover:

1. Defects or damage resulting from improper usage, maintenance or storage not included in the NuVision Tablet manual.
2.  Packaging box or gifts other than the main device
3. Defects or damage resulting from unauthorized dismantling, altercation, and maintenance.
4. Damage caused by force, dropping, fire, flooding, rain, snow, and lightning, etc.
5. Or the product has exceeded the validity period of the warranty.
