Introduction
Ecler VEO-SPH44 is a professional 1×4 HDMI 2.0 distribution amplifier/splitter. It supports HDR formats and HDMI data rates up to 18Gbps at 4K/UHD@60Hz video resolution with 4:4:4 chroma sampling. It includes EDID management in three different modes and it is HDCP 2.2 compliant. VEO-SPH44 guarantees seamless integration for all applications that require the latest 4K/UHD and HDR sources and displays.
Important Remark
The lightning flash with the arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

- Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plugs, convenience receptacles, and at the point where they exit from the apparatus.
- Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
- Refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Servicing is required when the equipment has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.

These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. - Disconnecting from mains: Switching off the POWER switch all the functions and light indicators of the amplifier will be stopped, but fully disconnecting the device from mains is done by unplugging the power cord from the mains input socket. For this reason, it always shall remain readily operable.
- Equipment is connected to a socket outlet with an earthing connection by means of a power cord.
- The marking information is located at the bottom of the apparatus.
- The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.

- EDID Function Switch: Mixed mode EDID settings will follow the highest common resolution supported by the display connected to Out4, in order to ensure compatibility between all displays.
- EDID Function Switch: Auto mode EDID information is managed by VEO-SPH44 as listed in the table in paragraph 7.
- EDID Function Switch: Copy mode In this mode displays connected to Out1-3 will receive a copy of the EDID information negotiated by Out4.

CONNECTION AND INSTALLATION
- Connect HDMI signal source (such as PC, Blu-ray player, etc) to VEO-SPH44 HDMI input port.
- Connect VEO-SPH44 HDMI output ports to displays.
- Power up VEO-SPH44, displays, and sources.
Note:
HDCP version is prior to EDID: 4K@60Hz EDID settings will be accepted only if displays are HDCP 2.2 compliant, otherwise, the output will be automatically set to 1080p@60Hz
Please check the following table:
HDR formats are not supported when VEO-SPH42 is in “Auto” mode.
