TECHNICAL SUPPORT QUESTIONS

Why is my microphone not working?
If your microphone does not produce any sound at all, then chances are you are not using the right cable or you did not  setup your audio interface correctly. Please visit our support page to find videos on how to setup your microphone properly and guides. If you are using a mic booster or a product that goes in between the interface and the microphone cable, you need remove that so it blocks 48V. This microphone already has sufficient gain so a mic booster is not necessary. If your issue is more specific and requires further help, please message us on live chat or email us at support@techzoneaudioproducts.com.

What comes included when I buy a Stellar X2/Vintage microphone?
You will receive the microphone, an Aluminum Flight Case, a spring shockmount, a 3/8″ to 5/8” adapter, a foam wind cover,  and a leather pouch. Please view our product pages to view  further specifications.

Where is my stand adapter?
Typically it should be attached to the shockmount. To remove, use a quarter or screw driver. We have started including it in a  small bag so it is easier to find.

WHICH MICROPHONE SHO ULD I CHOOSE?

What is the difference between the Stellar X2, the Vintage, and the X3?
The Stellar X2 is designed to be a modern microphone with little added coloration in the high end. This produces a sound that is very clear for deeper voice. This makes it a great fit for many voiceover artist and most singers with a deeper voice. The Vintage is a much warmer mid ranged focused microphone that rolls off a lot the highs. This can be good in retaining clarity and openness without bringing up harshness. This makes it a good fit for many musical instruments and certain voices that are more sibilant. However, on certain voices the Vintage may be too dark or the mid boost may be too nasally. This is where the X3 comes in. The X3 is just a pure neutral microphone. Its rare to get a truly neutral mic at this price point and the X3 will simply pick up what is hearing. It has a very flat frequency response and it lacks any kind of coloration. This makes it the most true to the source microphone we offer.
