The POWERPLAY HA8000/HA6000 is a high-power headphone mixing and distribution amplifier. It is available in both 8-channel (HA8000) and 6-channel (HA6000) versions. Product Usage Instructions
- Read the user manual carefully before using the amplifier.
- Ensure that the amplifier is placed in a well-ventilated area and not exposed to rain, moisture, or direct sunlight.
- Do not remove the top cover or rear section of the amplifier. There are no user-serviceable parts inside, so any servicing should be done by qualified personnel.
- Clean the amplifier only with a dry cloth. Do not use any liquid or cleaning agents.
- Ensure that the ventilation openings of the amplifier are not blocked. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation.
- Avoid placing the amplifier near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other devices that generate heat.
- Do not use the amplifier near water or in wet conditions.
- Protect the power cord from being pinched or walked on, especially at the plugs and where it exits from the amplifier.

Step 2: Controls
- The MAIN METER displays the input level of the MAIN INPUT connector(s) and the DIRECT IN connector on the HA6000. When the HA8000 is powered on, the green ON LED will light up.
- The MASTER LEVEL knob(s) adjust the level of the MAIN INPUT signal. The HA8000 has individual knobs called MAIN IN 1 and 2 which control the 2 pairs of MAIN IN jacks.
- The DIRECT IN jack (HA6000 only) allows stereo signals to be connected via ¼” TRS cable.
- The PHONES OUT jacks allow headphones to be connected to each channel for individual monitoring.
- The CHANNEL METER displays the output level of each individual channel.
- The OUTPUT LEVEL knob adjusts the channel’s volume.
- The IN 1/IN 2 button (HA8000 only) selects whether the MAIN IN 1 or 2 signal is sent to that channel.
- (Engage the HA8000’s MONO button to convert the channel’s signal to mono.
- The L/R MONO buttons allow the HA6000’s input signal to be heard in mono.
- The HA6000’s BALANCE knob adjusts the ratio between the MAIN/DIRECT IN signals and the AUX IN. If nothing is connected to the channel’s AUX IN jack, then the BALANCE knob controls the stereo balance of the MAIN signal.
- The BASS knob adjusts the channel’s low frequencies (HA6000 only).
- The TREBLE knob adjusts the channel’s high frequencies (HA6000 only).
- The POWER button turns the unit on and off.
- The MAIN INPUT connectors allow source audio to be sent to all channels. The HA6000 accepts a single stereo signal via ¼” or XLR jacks. The HA8000 has a pair of ¼” stereo inputs, and each set has its own volume control. Note that the MAIN signal is muted for channels with a cable connected to the DIRECT IN jack.
- The MAIN OUT connectors (HA6000 only) send the signal from the MAIN INPUT jacks directly out via ¼” or XLR.
- An extra PHONES OUT jack is available on the rear panel of the HA8000.
- The DIRECT INPUT jacks on the accept signals via ¼” cables. When a connection is made to this jack, the MAIN INPUTS are muted in the respective channel.
- The AUX IN jacks on the HA6000 accept signals via ¼” cables. The signal can be mixed with the MAIN IN signal via the channel’s BALANCE knob. If a ¼” TS cable is used to connect to the AUX IN jack, it is recommended to press the channel’s MONO button so that the signal is heard in both ears.
- The OUT jacks on the HA6000 echo the front panel PHONES OUT jacks.
