Applications

Switcher Mode:
Two output connectors work as primary and the other six connectors work as backup. The output capacity is up to 8K×2K@60Hz. The P20 can work with the U5 or U5 Pro event controller. The U5 is used as an example.

Four output connectors work as primary and the other four connectors work as backup. The output capacity is up to 8K×4K@60Hz. The P20 can work with the U5 or U5 Pro event controller. The U5 is used as an example.

P20+U5+PixelFlow

Change Working Mode

The P20 can work in switcher mode or PGM only mode. Users can switch between the two modes as required.

  1. Select Device on the left of PixelFlow homepage.
  2. On the right of the page that appears, set Working Mode to Switcher or PGM Only.
Configure Screens

The P20 supports one common screen and four AUX screens. Users can set the connector layout, add and replace connectors for the common screen. The relationships between AUX screens and AUX outputs are fixed.

  1. Select Screen on the left of PixelFlow homepage. The common screen is selected by default.
  2. At the top of the editing area, tap a layout template icon or customize a layout by specifying the number of rows and columns.
  3. Drag an output to the canvas to complete screen configuration. To change the output, drag another output to the target area.
  4. On the right of the page, set screen properties as required.
Add Layers
  • The PGM output of the P20 supports up to 7 layers including 3x 4K@60Hz layers and 4x 2K@60Hz layers, or 4x 4K@60Hz layers.
  • Each AUX screen supports only one layer that fills the screen and cannot be resized and repositioned. The AUX screens can be used as teleprompters.
  1. Select Programming on the left of PixelFlow homepage.
  2. Tap a screen name to select the screen, or select Multiple select and tap to select multiple screens.
  3. Add layers to the screen.
    • Common screen: Drag an input source to the screen to add a layer.
    • AUX screen: Drag an input source or PGM to the screen to add a layer.
Switch from PVW to PGM

  • Swap: When this option is selected, the contents on the PVW screen and PGM screen are swapped after the switching. When this option is not selected, the content on the PVW screen is copied to the PGM screen after the switching.
  • Cut: Switch the content on the PWW screen to the PGM screen with no transition effect.
  • Take: Switch the content on the PVW screen to the PGM screen with a specified transition effect. The effect duration can be specified.
  • T-Bar: Switch the content on the PVW screen to the PGM screen with a specified transition effect. Users can control the transition duration by dragging the virtual T-Bar.
Set Multiviewer

The P20 supports live monitoring of all the input sources, PVW and PGM screens. Users can choose any of the provided Multiviewer layout templates.

The layout cannot be customized.

  1. Select Multiviewer on the left of PixelFlow homepage.
  2. Select a layout template from the bottom of the page.
Switch Between Presets

Up to 128 presets can be saved by the P20. A preset includes screen and layer information. Presets can be quickly loaded.

  1. Select Presets on the left of PixelFlow homepage.
  2. On the right of the page, tap a preset on the preset list to load it.
    • Switcher mode: The preset is loaded to the PVW screen. Go to step 3.
    • PGM only mode: The preset is loaded to the PGM screen and no further action is required.
  3. Tap Cut or Take, or tap T-Bar and drag the virtual T-Bar to switch content from the PVW screen to PGM screen.
