Product Usage Instructions
Installation:
Please find a qualified electrician for installation. Read the instructions before installing the sensor and using the luminaire.
Corridor Function:
This sensor provides tri-level control, allowing for a light change notice (dimmed light) before switch-off. It offers 3 modes of brightness: 100% –> dimmed light (natural light is insufficient) –> off. It also has 2 periods of selectable waiting time: motion hold-time and stand-by period. The sensor features an adjustable daylight threshold and motion detection sensitivity. Adjustments beyond the factory default settings require the RC-100 remote (sold separately).
Daylight Sensor Function:
The daylight sensor function also requires the RC-100 remote for adjustments beyond the factory default settings. With sufficient natural light, the light does not switch on when a presence is detected. With insufficient natural light, the sensor automatically switches on the light when a presence is detected. After the hold time, the light dims to a stand-by level if the surrounding natural light is below the daylight threshold. The light switches off automatically after the stand-by period elapses.
Example setting for daylight sensor function:
- Hold Time: 30 Min
- Set Point On: 50 Lux
- Set Point Off: 300 Lux
- Stand-By Dim: 10%
- Stand-By Period: + (When the daylight sensor is activated, the standby time is +)
Power On/Off and Dimming:
- The light switches on at 100% when there is movement detected.
- The light dims to a stand-by level after the hold time.
- The light remains at a dimming level at night.
- Note: The specifications are subject to change without notice. Photos and line drawings may not be to scale and are for general reference only.
- PLEASE FIND A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN FOR INSTALLATION.
- Please read the instructions before you install the sensor and use the luminaire.
- WARNING, CAUTIONS AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
- To reduce the risk of death, personal injury, or property damage from fire, electric shock, falling parts, cuts/abrasions, and other hazards read all warnings and instructions included with and on the fixture box and all fixture labels.
- Before installing, servicing, or performing routine maintenance on this equipment, follow these general precautions.
- If you are unsure about the installation or maintenance of the luminaires, consult a qualified licensed electrician and check your local electrical code.
- Do not make or alter any open holes in an enclosure of wiring or electrical components during kit installation.
- Turn off electrical power at the fuse or circuit breaker box before installation or performing any maintenance.
- Avoid direct eye exposure to the light source while it is on.
NOTE:
- The warm-up time is 40 seconds. After the sensor is connected to input power for the first time, the light will stay on for 40 seconds, then go to dimming to work normally.
- Factory Default Settings: Sensitivity set to 100%. Hold on time 5 minutes. Daylight sensor is disabled (Set at ). The dimming level is at 30%. Dimming time at 60 minutes.
- RC-100 Remote (sold separately) required to change factory default settings. If any setting is changed, the LED light will turn on/off as confirmation of connection.
- For use with specific PQL fixtures, with a compatible installed sensor socket.
- Adjustable elbow #67845 may be required for installation, sold separately.
- WARNING DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING.

SENSOR COVERAGE
- CORRIDOR FUNCTION – RC-100 remote (sold separately) is required for adjustments beyond the factory default settings.
- This sensor can provide tri-level control, for areas that require a light change notice (dimmed light) before switch-off.
- The sensor offers 3 modes of brightness: 100%–>dimmed light (natural light is insufficient) –>off; and 2 periods of selectable waiting time: motion hold-time and stand-by period.
- Features adjustable daylight threshold and motion detection sensitivity.
- With sufficient natural light, the light does not switch on when a presence is detected.
- With insufficient natural light, the sensor switches on the light automatically when a presence is detected.
- After hold-time, the light dims to stand-by level if the surrounding natural light is below the daylight threshold.
- The light switches off automatically after the stand-by period elapses.
DAYLIGHT SENSOR FUNCTION
- RC-100 remote (sold separately) is required for adjustments beyond the factory default settings.
- When the remote control is in setting condition push to select the daylight sensor settings.
- Setting in this example: Hold Time: 30 Min.
- Set Point On: 50 Lux
- Set Point Off : 300 Lux Stand-By Dim: 10%
- Stand-By Period: +∞
- (When the daylight sensor is activated, the standby time is +∞)
- The light switches on at 100% when there is movement detected.
- The light dims to a stand-by level after the hold time.
- The light remains at a dimming level at night.
- When the natural light level exceeds the set point to light, the light will turn off even if when the space is occupied.
- The light automatically turns on at 10% when natural light is insufficient (no motion).
