Proaim VI-252-00 Airwave Vibration Isolator Arm
Product Information
The Airwave Vibration Isolator Arm (VI-252-00) is a versatile and reliable accessory designed to minimize vibrations and ensure smooth footage while using camera stabilizers such as the Ronin. The arm comes with a Ronin Mounting Plate, Airwave Vibration Isolator Arm, Isolator, and a Flight Case for convenient transportation and storage.
Product Usage Instructions
- Airwave Arm Setup
- Loosen the Pole Clamps by turning the knobs.
- Insert a pole into the clamps and tighten them securely.
- Attach the Isolator onto the nose bracket of the Airwave Arm using the provided bolts. Tighten the bolts with an allen key.
- NOTE : The Nose Bracket can be adjusted on two levels, top and bottom. It can also be mounted in the opposite direction.
- Spring Adjustment
- Adjust the load capacity by adjusting the springs. Loosen the springs to decrease the weighing capacity and tighten them to increase it. Make sure to adjust both springs equally.
- Arm Movement Check
- It is important to check the movement of the arm.
- With the arm at a levelled position or slightly above the horizontal position, push down the front of the arm. It should move 3 to 4 times before reaching its normal position.
- To adjust the dampening effect, turn the provided knob from H (Hard) to S (Soft) if the arm is too rigid, or from S (Soft) to H (Hard) if the arm is too soft.
- Attaching the Ronin
- To mount the Ronin setup without the Isolator, attach the Ronin Plate onto the Nose as shown in the image.
- The Ronin can be easily attached onto the Isolator using 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threads. Lock the Ronin plate securely.
- Ronin Interface
- The Airwave Vibration Isolator Arm is compatible with the Ronin stabilizer.

Please inspect the contents of your shipped package to ensure you have
received everything that is listed below.
Airwave Arm Setup
- Loosen Pole Clamps via knobs. Insert a pole into clamps and tighten them properly.
- Attach Isolator onto the nose bracket of Airwave Arm with help of bolts. Then tighten these bolts with allen key.
- NOTE : Nose Bracket can be adjusted on two levels, top and bottom, as shown in image.
- NOTE : Nose Plate can also be mounted in the opposite direction.
Spring Adjustment
- NOTE : Load Capacity can be easily adjusted by adjusting springs. Adjust both springs equally.
- Loosen springs to decrease the weighing capacity & tighten them to increase the weighing capacity.
- NOTE : It is very important to check the movement of arm.
- With arm at levelled position or slightly above the horizontal position, push down the front of arm. It moves 3 to 4 times before reaching normal position.

- In order to mount Ronin setup without Isolator, attach Ronin Plate onto the Nose as shown in image.
- Ronin can be easily attached onto Isolator with 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads. Then lock the Ronin plate.
