Dear Customer,
Thank you and congratulations for choosing HOMEMATE Hand Mixer. Before using the appliance, please read the following instructions carefully. Connection to the mains supply. The appliance should only be connected to an earthed socket and make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label.

Important Safety Instruction

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Before the appliance is used, the main body as well as any attachment fitted should be checked thoroughly for any defects. Should the appliance, for instance, have been dropped onto a hard surface, it must not be used any longer: even invisible damage may have adverse effects on the operational safety of the appliance.

2. Switch off the appliance before fitting and removing the attachment.

3. Keep your fingers away from moving parts and the opening on the attachment.

4. Only use the appliance for its intended domestic use, the manufacture will not accept any liability if the appliance is subject to improper use or failure to comply with these instructions.

5. Never leave the appliance to run unsupervised, especially when young children or handicapped persons are present.

6. Do not move the appliance when it is functioning.

7. Check that the voltage rating of the appliance does in fact match that of your electrical system. Any connection error will nullify the guarantee.

8. The appliance must be plugged into an earthed electrical socket.

9. If you have to use an electrical extension lead, it must be earthed and you should make sure that no-one can trip over it.

10. Unplug the appliance as soon as you have finished using it and when you clean it.

11. Don’t use your attachment and/or appliance if it has been damaged. You should contact an approved service canter.

12. Any work on the appliance other than normal care and cleaning by the customer must be carried out by an approved service Centre.

13. Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or in any other liquid.

14. Never fit accessories with different functions at the same time. (dough hooks and beater etc.)

15. Do not allow the power cord to hang within the reach of children, to come close to or into contact with the hot parts of your appliance, any other source of heat or any sharp edge.

16. If the power cord or the plug are damaged, don’t use your appliance .To avoid any risk, these must be replaced by an approved service Centre.

17. Do not put any accessories containing metal in a microwave oven.

18. Switch off the appliance and disconnected from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts which move in use.

19. Do not touch dough hooks or beater hooks while the appliance is in operation.

20. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.

21. Short-time operating.
    For blender stick (H): Don’t use the appliance with it longer than 1 minute at one time. And don’t use it to process hard food longer than 10 seconds at one time!For dough hooks (G) or double beaters (F): Don’t use the appliance with it longer than 5 minutes at one time!

22. This appliance is not intended for use by children or other persons without assistance or supervision if their physical, sensory or mental capabilities prevent them from using it safely. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

23. Do not use outdoors.

24. This appliance is for household use only and not for commercial applications.

Before First Use

• Remove all packaging materials and make sure items check that the appliance is in perfect condition.
• The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene foam etc.) should be kept out of the reach of children, as they could constitute a safety hazard.
• Before using for the first time, clean the various accessories of your appliance carefully. (see cleaning and care).

How to use the Dough Hooks & Double Beaters

Before using for the first time, clean all parts of the accessories with soapy water rinse and dry.

1. Insert the beaters or dough hooks until they are locked in place. The dough hooks have a specific shape and need to be insert in the corresponding holes. Dough hook equiped with the marking ring should be positioned into the biggest hole. The two dough hooks cannot be inserted in reverse. The “click” indicates that the accessories are correctly in place. (See figure)
2. Place the ingredients in an appropriate container.
3. Plug in the appliance.
4. Depending on the quantity of ingredients, use a sufficiently deep bowl. Start the mixer by moving the control switch from left to right, starting on select the speed “M , 1, 2, 3, 4″you need, then appliance starts to process the food. If you select speed “M” (Turbo), the hand mixer will change speed to the highest speed (speed 4) instantly.
5. When you have finished using the mixer, stop by turning the switch back to “O” position.
6. Unplug the appliance.
7. Release the dough hooks or beater hooks from the mixer by pressing eject button device (B).

Caution:

1. Always begin the speed of the mixer starting from “1 “to”4”. Change the speed gradually at all times.
2. Avoid the ingredients from going to the mixer’s motor housing.
3. For heavy dough mixtures, set the speed selector to”4″ or” M”.
4. Do not operate the appliance for more than 5 minutes at one time.
   After 5 minutes of continuous use, allow few minutes of rest before the next use.

SAFETY NOTICE: KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. CHILDREN MUST HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION WHILE ORERATING THE MIXER.

Mixing guide

How to use the Blender Stick

The hand blender is perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food as well as for mixing and milkshakes.

1. Install anti-scratch guard (H-1) on the blender stick. (See above figure) Open the cover (D), and then insert the assembled blender stick on the hand mixer. A sound “click”will be heard if the blender stick is well installed in position.
   Tips: You may use the anti-scratch guard (H-1) to prevent the container from scratching.

2. Place the ingredients in an appropriate container.

3. Plug in the appliance.

4. Depending on the quantity of ingredients, use a sufficiently deep bowl. Start the mixer by moving the control switch from left to right, starting on select the speed “M, 1, 2, 3, 4″you need, then appliance starts to process the food.

   • If you select speed “M” (Turbo), the hand mixer will change speed to the highest speed (speed 4) instantly.

5. When you have finished using the mixer, stop by turning the switch back to “O” position. Unplug the appliance. To remove blender stick: firstly press button (E-1 ), secondly draw out the blender stick.

6. You can use the hand blender in the measuring beaker and just as well in any other vessel.

Caution:

• Don’t use it continuously for more than 1 minute.
• Don’t operate hard food for no longer than 10 seconds.
• Avoid the ingredients from going to the mixer’s motor housing.
• The blade is very sharp! Handle it carefully.
• Don’t operate food without water.

Cleaning and care

1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged.
2. Never immerse the mixer in water. Wipe the body and cord with a clean, damp cloth.
3. Completely dismantle the mixer attachment. Rinse the accessories after use. The beater hooks, the dough hooks, beaker and lid may be cleaned by using water and a mild detergent or dishwasher safe.
4. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions for cleaning.
5. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the motor unit and the blender stick with water and do not immerse it in water.
6. Before keeping, wipe the mixer and accessories dry.
7. Keep in a secure place and out of reach of children.

Disposal
Do not dispose of old or defective appliances in domestic garbage; this should only be done through public collection points.
