Product Information
- The XMP550 is a monitor with firmware version 2.4.11. It comes fully calibrated and offers various color system options. The monitor supports single link 12Gbps or 6Gbps SDI connectivity, as well as Quad Link 3Gbps and 1.5Gbps Square Division signals.
- There are some known issues with the firmware version 2.4.11, such as the disabled Panel Dimming feature and the non-functioning Delete AutoCal Data menu item. The 3rd Party Color System only works in Normal LUT Mode, and Advanced LUT Mode is not supported in 3rd Party mode.

Product Usage Instructions
Color System
To access the calibrated positions, make sure the Color System option in
the Color menu is set to GaiaColor. This option activates a calibrated monitor
state based on the last direct connect volumetric AutoCal profile data saved
to the monitor’s memory. If you prefer not to use calibration, you can select
the None option. The 3rd Party option provides uncalibrated memory slots for
use with 3rd party applications.
Connectivity
The preferred configuration for connectivity is single link 12Gbps or 6Gbps
SDI. However, the monitor also supports Quad Link 3Gbps and 1.5Gbps Square
Division signals. To use these alternative configurations, you must manually
select them from the Video Menu.
Known Issues
There are some known issues with firmware version 2.4.11:
- Panel Dimming: The Panel Dimming feature is currently disabled and only works in the reference Panel Dimming -> OFF mode.
- Delete AutoCal Data: The Delete AutoCal Data menu item does not perform any action and may be removed in the future. There is no need to manually delete data as any new AutoCal automatically replaces the old one.
- 3rd Party Color System: The 3rd Party Color System only works in Normal LUT Mode. Advanced LUT Mode is not supported in 3rd Party mode. However, this has no impact on default GaiaColor Color System operation.

Color System
- Your monitor has arrived fully calibrated. Please leave the Color System option found in the Color menu set to GaiaColor to access the calibrated positions. The None option disables calibration and the 3rd Party option is an empty and uncalibrated set of memory slots avaialbe for use with 3rd party applications.
- Within the GaiaColor Color System you will find all the available Gamut, EOTF, Correlated Color Temperature, and Luminance options supported by the monitor. Any selection made within the GaiaColor mode activates a calibrated monitor state instantaneously, without having to reprofile the display, based on the last direct connect volumetric AutoCal profile data saved to the monitor’s non-volatile memory.
Connectivity
The preferred configuration is single link 12Gbps or 6Gbps SDI. Quad Link 3Gbps and 1.5Gbps Square Division signals are also supported, but must be manually selected from the Video Menu.
FW 2.4.11 Known Issues List
- We are aware of the nuisance items below and are working on addressing them in future releases, but if you note any issues / bugs not listed here please report them to [email protected]
- Panel Dimming -> ON is currently disabled. The monitor only works in the reference Panel Dimming -> OFF mode at present. Panel dimming will be enabled as an optional toggle in a future release.
- The Delete AutoCal Data menu item performs no action and will likely be removed from the menu at a future date. There is no need to delete data as any new AutoCal replaces the old one automatically.
- 3rd Party Color System currently only works in Normal LUT Mode. Advanced LUT Mode is not currently support-ed in 3rd Party mode. This has no impact on default GaiaColor Color System operation.
