Product Usage Instructions

  1. Section your hair into 2-inch pieces for best results.
  2. Place the ends of your hair in the teeth of the starter strip and wind it towards your scalp.
  3. Roll your hair firmly and secure the roller with a clip by crossing the clip over the roller.
  4. The firmness of the curl can be adjusted by varying the heat-uptime, roller diameter, and duration of leaving the rollers in your hair. For longer-lasting curls, allow the rollers to heat up longer and keep them in your hair for a longer period before removing them.
  5. To remove the rollers, hold one roller with one hand and remove the clip with the other hand. Gently drop the roller (do not pull) and let the curl bounce back once the roller is removed from your hair.
  6. Let the curls cool in place for one minute to set, then style your hair as desired.

Note: The hair should be clean and dry or slightly damp, never wet, when using the hair setter. Always unplug the appliance when not in use and allow it to cool down before storing it in a safe place. Follow all safety instructions provided in the manual.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

How to Operate Your Hairsetter

  1. Place the setter on a firm, flat surface. With the cover closed, plug the cord into the outlet. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
    Dual Voltage
This hair setter will automatically adjust to the proper voltage. Use an adapter plug with the correct configuration prior to use in the outlet.

  2. Once plugged in, the rollers will heat up in minutes. The fastest, most efficient heat is provided when the cover is closed. Once the rollers are hot, you can begin styling your hair (please refer to How to Curl and Style Your Hair for further instruction).

  3. When using the setter, your hair should be clean and dry (or slightly damp), never wet.

  4. Never leave your setter plugged in and unattended. Always unplug the setter when not in use. Allow the setter to cool down after use. Store the unit in a safe place.

How to Curl and Style Your Hair

  1. Section hair into 2-inch pieces to ensure the best curl. Place ends of hair in the teeth of the starter strip and wind toward the scalp. Roll hair firmly and secure the roller with a clip by crossing the clip-over roller.
  2. The firmness of the curl is determined by several factors: heat-up time, the diameter of the roller, and the length of time the roller is left in the hair. For longer-lasting curls, the rollers should be allowed to heat up longer and be left in the hair for a longer period of time before removing.
  3. To remove rollers, hold the roller in one hand and remove the clip with the other hand. Gently drop the roller (DO NOT PULL), and let the curl bounce back once the roller has been removed from the hair. Let curls cool in place for one minute for a good set, then style your hair as desired.
