EVENTURI GLC63S AMG Black Carbon Intake System

Installation Instructions

1. We will start by removing the left side stock airbox. Loosen the spring clamp around the breather hose and pull the hose away from the airbox.
2. Loosen the hose clamp around the airbox outlet end.
3. Remove the cover from the back of the airbox which covers the MAP sensor. Unplug the sensor.
4. Pull the plastic duct out from the slam panel trim.
5. You can now remove the airbox by pulling it upwards. It is held in place with rubber mounts.
6. Repeat the same process for the other side – but first remove the trim panel around the oil filler.
7. The stock airboxes should now be fully removed.
8. Remove both MAP sensors by rotating 90 degrees and pulling out.
9. Install both MAP sensors into the carbon airbox lids. Push them in vertically and then rotate 90 degrees. It may help to slightly lubricate the green O-rings on the sensors.
10. Sensor should be rotated 90 degrees to rest on the bracket.
11. Identify the LHS and RHS lower Airbox sections Go to the next page.
12. Remove the small coolant tube from the top of the coolant tank.
13. Push the silicon hoses onto each airbox and use 1 hose clamp around the carbon as shown. Leave 25mm overhang as shown in next step.
14. Leave 25mm overhang.
15. Remove 4 rubber mounts from the stock airboxes.
16. Push the rubber mounts into the mount holders on the carbon airboxes. There are 4 positions. One mount on each carbon piece. They can be pinched and pushed into the holders
17. Starting with the left side we will install the base first. Before installing please see next step. The rubber mount at the back of the airbox needs to be lined up.
18. The rubber needs to locate onto this mount at the back of the engine. Please rotate the mount on the airbox so that it lines up with the silver protective loom shroud shown.
19. Rotate the mount holder on the Left side airbox so that the flat section lines up with the shroud from the previous step.
20. Install the airbox base by pushing the silicon into position and then rotating it down to push the rear mount into place.
21. Reconnect the coolant tube.
22. Install the filter – make sure it is seated properly all around the flange on the airbox. Place a cloth over the metal engine cover to protect it for the next step.
23. Take the Left side airbox lid and push the breather pipe into the front.
24. Push the outlet of the lid into the rubber coupler.
25. Carefully rotate the lid downwards onto the airbox base. The rubber mount under the lid should go onto the mounting position.
26. Line up the lid with the base so that the flanges are directly in line with each other as shown. There should be an equal gap all the way around.
27. The flanges should line so that the holes are all in line.
28. Secure the airbox with the supplied countersunk screws. Screws only need to be finger tight – do not put excess force on them.
29. Install the MAP sensor plug. Make sure it is fully installed and the locking tab is pushed back in.
30. Secure the hose clamp around the carbon tube – do not over tighten. Only finger tight.
31. Now repeat the same process for the other side.
