Power Source

Battery operation

  1. Open the Battery Compartment.
  2. Insert 3 pieces of ”AAA” size batteries into the battery compartment.
  3. Make sure that the batteries are installed with proper polarity to prevent possible damage to the unit: Load new batteries with their polarities ( + and – ) aligned correctly.
  4. Do not apply heat to batteries, or internal short circuits may occur. If this unit is not to be used for a long period of time, remove all batteries and store them in a cool and dry place.
  5. Remove exhausted batteries immediately and dispose of them.
  6. Do not use old and new batteries together. Also never use an alkaline battery with a Manganese battery.

Battery life
If the sound becomes low or distorted, replace all the batteries with new ones or when the display is hardly visible, replace all the batteries with new ones.

Lock button
Long press this button to lock the unit, and all buttons will have no function, press again to unlock it.

Alarm button

  • In standby mode, long press this button until the time hour is flashing so you can set the time of alarm by ▐◄◄ the/search/►►▐ button, and press it again to confirm.
  • After selecting an alarm source (Radio or Buzz) by ▐◄◄ /search/►►▐ button, press again to confirm. Short press this button to turn the alarm on/off.

Clock button

  • In standby mode, press this button to set the time of the unit. If the hour’s number is flashing, press ▐◄◄ or ►►▐ to increase & decrease the hour, pressing this button to confirm the hour setting, also the minute number is flashing, as same as the hours setting operation to set the minute time.

12/24 button
Select the time display as 12 hours or 24-hour system.

Display

To display the time and the frequency of the radio.

Bracket
Open the bracket to hold the unit.

FM antenna
Extend for best reception.

Earphone jack
3.5mm Stereo headphone jack.

BT/band button

Toggle between BT/AM/FM bands by pressing this button.

Memory button

  •  To show radio frequency memories, a long press will store the frequency automatically. (Up to 30 preset memories)

In BT mode, press to play or pause the song.

Sleep button
 Press this button to set up the sleep time.

▐◄◄ /Search/ ►►▐ button

  • In radio mode, press ▐◄◄ /►►▐ buttons going to backward and forward frequency channels, Long press can realize the automatic searching radio.
  • In Bluetooth mode, press ▐◄◄ the/►►▐ buttons to the previous/next song.

M+ & M- buttons
Press these two buttons to select the storage radio station.

Power button
Press this button to turn on/off the unit.

Volume controller
Press these two buttons to adjust the volume.

Battery compartment
Takes 3 x ‘AAA’ batteries.

Bluetooth connection
Press the BT/Band button until you reach to BT function. Please turn on the Bluetooth function on your phone, search the Bluetooth device named APR-400 and click to connect. The speaker voice prompt connection is successful after matched, then you can play the music or use the Bluetooth phone function after the successful connection.
