• The Timco Dual 18V 12L Ash Vacuum Cleaner is a powerful and efficient cleaning tool designed for removing ash and dust. Product Installation Instructions

1. Install the HEPA filter in its place below the motor unit.
2. Place the lid of the tank in its place on top of the tank, and fix it by locking the buckles on the sides.
3. Attach the suction hose on the air outlet located on the side of the tank.
4. Attach the aluminum tube nozzle to the end of the suction hose.
5. Install a suitable Timco Dual battery on the ash vacuum cleaner. Make sure the battery is charged.
6. The vacuum cleaner is now ready for use.

Product Cleaning and Care

• Before cleaning the vacuum cleaner, remove the battery. If the appliance is very dirty, wipe the external parts carefully with a damp cloth. After wiping, make sure to dry carefully and prevent any moisture from reaching the interior parts of the fan.
• When cleaning, do not use strong detergents, abrasive substances, or hard objects that may scratch the surface of the item. Avoid using solvents, benzene, or oil-based cleaners.

Installation instructions

Operating the appliance

Using the ash vacuum cleaner is simple and easy. Install the battery in its place, and switch on the vacuum cleaner from the power switch located on the motor cover. You can vacuum the ash directly from your fireplace, sauna stove, ash boxes or charcoal grill. Note that the ash vacuumed with this appliance must be cool. Unburnt pieces of charcoal or wood with certain shape and size might block the hose, aluminum nozzle or the air inlet. If this happens, the suction of the vacuum cleaner will get weaker and the noise from the motor might change. To fix this switch off the vacuum cleaner and clean the hose, aluminum nozzle and air inlet from any blockage. Attach the parts back into their places and continue normal usage of the ash vacuum cleaner.

Cleaning and care

Remove the battery before cleaning the vacuum cleaner. If the appliance is very dirty, you can wipe the external parts carefully with a damp cloth. • The HEPA filter delivered with the appliance can be cleaned by brushing it carefully or washing it under running water. Let the filter dry thoroughly before installing it again into the appliance and using it again.
• The filter will wear down and get damaged over time. Always replace the filter when it shows signs of damage or it can’t be cleaned properly anymore.

Troubleshooting

Most commonly the problems arising with the ash vacuum cleaner are caused by blockages in the hoses or filters. It is important to upkeep the proper function of the item by regular cleaning of the filters and other parts of the appliance.

Warranty

This appliance has a 2 years warranty, which is valid from the date of purchase onwards. Timco products have been carefully manufactured by the defined quality standards. In case you face a problem or a defect on the item, please contact the retailer if the warranty is still valid.

• The warranty covers clear manufacturing or material defects. Normal wear and tear is not covered by the warranty. Warranty is also void if the product has been assembled in a way that is not in accordance with this manual, or if sufficient care has not been applied in using, maintaining or storing the item. Warranty is only valid in normal household use.
• Keep a receipt or other proof or purchase date stored in case you need to contact the retailer for warranty matters.

Recycling

Do not dispose the item with domestic waste. When you discard the item, use special collection point for electrical and electronic equipment.
