Safety instructions

  • Do not use this appliance unless you have read the instruction manual thoroughly and understood the contents. Familiarize yourself with the product and its functions carefully before taking it into use.
  • Keep the burner out of reach of children.
  • Only use lighter gas style pure butane gas with this item. Using other gas types is forbidden and may cause a fire or an explosion.
  • Do not touch the nozzle when it is still hot.
  • Do not cool down the nozzle by water, but instead let it cool down by itself.
  • Do not point the burner nozzle towards yourself, other people or flammable objects.
  • Do not refill the burner at places where accidentally released gas might be ignited by sparks or open flame.
  • Do not modify the construction of the burner, add parts on it or remove fixed parts from it.
  • Handle the burner with care; do not subject it to hits or other excessive force. Do not try to twist or rotate the nozzle tube in a different position.
  • Do not use the burner if the function seems abnormal, if there is a sign of any kind of leakage or if the burner has external signs of damage.
  • Only use in well-ventilated spaces.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.
  • The blue flame from the burner can be nearly invisible in bright light. Operate with caution.
  • Place the item being worked on on a non-flammable surface that can resist high temperatures.
  • Always wear protective glasses and gloves.
  • Due to fire risk always keep a fire blanket, fire extinguisher or a water bucket close by when operating the gas burner.
  • Do not leave ignited torch unattended at any time.
  • Make sure the burner is completely cooled down before storage.

Usage instructions

  1. Gas refilling
    a) If the gas has been stored in cold temperatures shake the gas bottle a few times before refilling.
    b) Turn the torch upside down and place the gas bottle directly above the valve on the torch. Press the gas bottle nozzle firmly on the valve and allow gas to flow into the torch in short sequences (picture 1).
    c) Fill until the torch gas container is full. If the liquid gas sprays out while filling it is an indication that the container is full. Do not continue filling process if this happens.
    d) After fueling the torch allow few minutes to pass before using the torch for the gas to stabilize.

  2. Ignition and use
    a) Turn the gas control knob counter-clockwise approximately 1/2-1 rounds to open the gas flow to burner (picture 2).
    b) Press the ignition button to have a spark ignite the gas and create a flame on the nozzle (picture 3).
    c) Adjust the flame if needed by using the gas control knob (picture 4). Do not adjust the gas flow unnecessarily high to prevent excessive gas consumption and unstable flame.
    d) Use the torch carefully and hold a steady grip on the frame of the torch (picture 5).

  3. Shutdown and storage
    a) Turn the gas control knob all the way clockwise to close the gas valve (picture 6).
    b) Make sure that the flame has fully extinguished.
    c) Let the nozzle cool down completely before storage.
    d) Always store the burner in dry place and where it is not subjected to high temperatures above +40 °C, direct sunlight, sparks or flames.

Other notes

  • In cold temperatures, the gas pressure coming from the gas container might be lower than normally, which leads to smaller than desired flame.
  • The burner is equipped with Anti-Flare function, which allows usage of the burner in any angle / position.
  • Despite the Anti-Flare function, when the burner is used in an inverted position in cold conditions, the flame might extinguish by itself or become unstable.
  • Use the torch a maximum of 20 minutes continuously. After 20 minutes of continuous use, allow the torch to cool down for 5 minutes before using it again to prevent damage to the torch.
  • Use the torch in inverted position a maximum of 10 minutes continuously to prevent damage to the torch. – Optimal angle of use 45°.
