Product Features

Note: Please note that this user manual is compatible for different models of digital padlock. Please refer to the actual product for the appearance.

1. The Yale Digital Padlock is charged by USB cable. Please fully charge the product before using it for the first time.
2. Supports up to 20 fingerprints: Fingerprints 12 is the administrator, fingerprints 3 20 is the ordinary user.
3. Once either of the administrator fingerprints is deleted, the product will be restored to factory default mode, deleting all fingerprints.
4. There are no registered fingerprints for factory default mode, therefore the Yale Digital Padlock can be unlocked by any fingerprint until it is set up.

Registration: 1st Fingerprint

Note:

1. 1st fingerprint will be recognised as administrator.

2. Please avoid accidental registration for the first fingerprint.

3. Unlock the padlock using any finger, press the intended fingerprint for registration for 8 seconds until the blue light is always on.

4. Press the sensor with the same finger to start registration until the green light flashes. Repeat 4 more times (for a total of 5 times).

*If registration has failed, the red light flashes instead of green light

Registration: 2nd to 20th Fingerprints

Note: Registering new fingerprints requires the administrator’s fingerprint authorization. 2nd fingerprint is also an administrator, 3rd to 20th fingerprints are normal users.

1. Unlock the padlock, press the administrator fingerprint on the sensor for 5 seconds until the blue light is always on.
2. Press the new finger for registration against the sensor to start registration until the green light flashes. Repeat 4 more times (for a total of 5 times).

*If registration has failed, the red light flashes instead of green light

Restore to Factory Default Mode

Note: Deleting fingerprints requires either one of the administrators’ fingerprint authorization. Be sure to restore the lock to factory default mode if you need to return it.

1. Unlock the padlock, press the administrator fingerprint on the sensor for 8 seconds until the red light is always on.
2. Press the sensor once again and the green light will light up.

• All fingerprints are now deleted successfully and the padlock has been restored to factory default mode.
