HILTI HIT-CT 100 Injectable Adhesive Anchor
Product Information
The Hilti HIT-CT 100 is an adhesive anchoring system designed for rebar and anchor fastenings in concrete. It contains dibenzoyl peroxide, which is harmful to aquatic life with long-lasting effects. The product may also produce an allergic reaction. It is important to follow the instructions for use and safety precautions provided by Hilti. Failure to do so may result in damage or failure caused by improper storage and transportation, failure to observe instructions, inadequate design of anchor points, inadequate load- bearing capacity of the base material, incorrect use, or other unknown influences. Hilti accepts no liability for such damage or failure, especially when the product is used in conjunction with third-party products. It is recommended to wear safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing during installation to prevent mortal splashes. It is also important to always use a properly screwed-on mixer and avoid using damaged foil packs and unclean foil pack holders. When filling boreholes, ensure that air voids are not formed and use accessories or extensions if necessary. For overhead applications, special care should be taken to prevent excess adhesive from dripping onto the installer. If a new mixer is installed onto a previously opened foil pack, the first trigger pulls must be discarded. In water-saturated concrete, it is necessary to set the anchor immediately after cleaning the borehole to avoid failure of fastening points.

Product Information
- Always keep these instructions together with the product even when given to other persons.
- Check expiration date: See imprint on foil pack manifold (month/year). Do not use expired products.
- Foil pack temperature during usage: +5 °C to 40 °C / 41 °F to 104 °F.
- The base material temperature at the time of installation: 0 °C to 40 °C / 23 °F to 104 °F.
- Conditions for transport and storage: Keep in a cool, dry and dark place between +5 °C to 25 °C / 41 °F to 77 °F. | For any application not covered by this document / beyond the values specified, please contact Hilti.
Partly used foil packs must be used up within 4 weeks. Leave the mixer attached to the foil pack manifold and store it under the recommended storage conditions. If reused, attach a new mixer and discard the initial quantity of anchor adhesive. A new mixer must be used for each new foil pack.
WARNING
Improper handling may cause mortar splashes. We recommend wearing safety glasses, gloves and protective clothes during installation. | Never start dispensing without a mixer properly screwed on. | Attach a new mixer prior to dispensing a new foil pack (ensure a snug fit). | Use only the type of mixer supplied with the adhesive. Do not modify the mixer in any way. | Never use damaged foil packs and/or damaged or unclean foil pack holders (cassettes).
Poor load values / potential failure of fastening points due to inadequate borehole cleaning. Hilti hollow drill bits TE-CD, and TE-YD must be used in conjunction with a properly maintained Hilti vacuum cleaner with model and suction capacity (volumetric flow rate) as specified in the accessory table. | The boreholes must be free of debris, dust, water, ice, oil, grease and other contaminants prior to adhesive injection. | For blowing out the borehole – blow out with oil-free air until return air stream is free of noticeable dust. | Important! Remove all water from the borehole and blow out with oil-free compressed air until the borehole is completely dried before mortar injection. | For brushing the borehole – only use a specified wire brush. The brush must resist insertion into the borehole – if not the brush is too small and must be replaced.
Ensure that boreholes are filled from the back of the borehole without forming air voids. If necessary use the accessories/extensions to reach the back of the borehole. | For overhead applications use the overhead accessories HIT-SZ / IP and take special care when inserting the fastening element. The excess adhesive may be forced out of the borehole. Make sure that no mortar drips onto the installer. | If a new mixer is installed onto a previously- opened foil pack, the first trigger pulls must be discarded. | In water- saturated concrete, it is required to set the anchor immediately after cleaning the borehole.
- Not adhering to these setting instructions can result in failure of fastening points!
