Product Information
The product is a Palisade Pedestal, designed to be mounted on a wall. The pedestal is hand-made and comes with mounting brackets for installation. The distance from the wall to the center of the hole is 245mm (9.65 inches). The pedestal has a front and a back side.
Product Usage Instructions
- Place the mounting brackets centered on the hatched area on the back of the Palisade Pedestal. It is important to check the location of the brackets before mounting, as the pedestal is hand-made.
- Position the guide for the internal bowl by aligning it with the hatched pattern on the pedestal hole. Ensure that no joists, pipes, or cables are under the cut area.
- For installation, follow these steps:
- Place the provided template on the floor in the approximate position where you want to install the pedestal.
- Place the Palisade Pedestal on the template and confirm that the location is suitable.
- Align the template to the pedestal by matching the hatched pattern to the internal pedestal hole. Keep the template axis square to the wall.
- Pin or tape the template to the floor, then remove the pedestal.
- Cut out the hole along the outer ring of the template, ensuring that the cut stays within the line width. If needed, scribe through the template to mark the floor if the cut cannot be made with the template in position.
- Insert the chute to check the shape of the hole.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Check this template is correctly scaled by measuring length and width as shown. Replace this template if the dimension is ± 1mm (0.04″). This template is the minimum clearance from wall.
- Place the template on the floor in the approximate position, then place the pedestal on the template and confirm the pedestal location is suitable. Check no joists, pipes or cables are under the cut area.
- Align template to the pedestal by matching the hatched pattern to the internal pedestal hole. Keep the template axis square to the wall.
- Pin or tape template to the floor, then remove the pedestal.
- Cut out hole along the outer ring, keeping the cut within the line width (or scribe through the template to mark the floor if the cut cannot be made with the template in position.)
- Insert chute to check hole shape.
