Roku STRIPPLUS Smart Light Strip+
Product Information
- The product is a Smart Light Strip+
- The package includes the following items:
- B) Power adaptor
- C) Controller
- D) Adhesive clips (x20)
- E) Alcohol wipes (x4)
- The light strip and controller must be connected properly. Do not connect the two light strips together with the controller at one end.
- The coiled strip should not be connected to power as it may overheat.
- The light strip can be mounted indoors only.
- The light strip can be controlled using the Roku Smart Home app and can be paired with Alexa or Google Assistant-enabled devices for voice control.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare the mounting location
- Identify where you want to mount the light strip and controller.
- Use the included alcohol wipes to clean the desired mounting location and allow it to dry.
- Step 2: Mount & connect controller
- Peel off the adhesive backing and mount the controller in a location where both the front and side buttons are easily accessible.
- Plug each end of the light strip into the controller, keeping the strip rolled.
- Step 3: Mount strips
- Unroll one strip at a time, peeling off the adhesive backing and firmly pressing it into place.
- Use the included adhesive clips to reinforce the controller cables and strips, especially around corners or bends.
- Step 4: Connect to power
- Once the light strips are mounted and trimmed (if necessary), connect the power adaptor to the controller.
- Plug the power adaptor into a wall outlet.
- Your light strips should light up and start pulsing blue.
- Pairing your strip
- Step 1: Download the Roku Smart Home app
- Scan the QR code provided to download the Roku Smart Home app on your smartphone.
- Sign in with your Roku account or create a new one.
- Step 2: Begin pairing
- In the Roku Smart Home app, tap the + button, then select “Add Device” to find Light Strip+.
- Ensure that the power adaptor is plugged into the wall and the light strips are pulsing blue. If not, press and hold the side button on the controller until the status light flashes yellow and blue.
- Step 3: Finish pairing
- Follow the instructions in the Roku Smart Home app to complete the pairing process between the light strips and your account.
- Controlling your light strips
- Use the front button on the controller for a single press to power on/change color and a long press to power off.
- Use the side button on the controller for a single press to change mode and a long press to enter pairing mode.
- The status light indicates the state of the light strip. Refer to the provided table for different status light states.

Before you set up
Identify where you’re going to mount your light strip and controller.
Each strip must connect to the controller as shown above. DO NOT connect the two strips together with the controller at one end.

Let’s get started

STEP 1: Prepare the mounting location
Use the included alcohol wipes to clean your desired mounting location. Allow it to dry before proceeding to the next step. -
STEP 2: Mount & connect controller
Peel off the adhesive backing and mount the controller where both the front and side buttons will be easily accessible. Keeping the light strips rolled, plug each end into the controller. -
STEP 3: Mount strips
Unroll one strip at a time, peeling off the adhesive backing and pressing firmly into place as you go. Use the included adhesive clips to reinforce the controller cables and strips, particularly around corners or anywhere the strip bends.-

Avoid bending where the LED is located. -
Trimming the strips
You may cut the strips only at the designated marks shown below. Any trimmed portion cannot be used and should be discarded. -
DO NOT trim the strips while it’s plugged into power.

STEP 4: Connect to power
Once your light strips are mounted and trimmed (if necessary), connect the power adaptor to the controller and plug it into a wall outlet. Your strips should light up and start pulsing BLUE.

STEP 1: Download the Roku Smart Home app
Scan the QR code below to download the Roku Smart Home app on your smartphone. Sign in with your Roku account or create one. -
STEP 2: Begin pairing
In the Roku Smart Home app, tap the “+” button, then “Add Device” to find “Light Strip+.” With the power adaptor plugged into the wall, ensure the strips are pulsing BLUE. If not, press and hold the controller’s side button until the status light flashes YELLOW and BLUE.- Strips haven’t turned on?

STEP 3: Finish pairing
Follow the instructions in the Roku Smart Home app to finish pairing the light strips to your account.

BLUE – Pulsing | Connecting to Wi-Fi® |
BLUE – Solid | The light strip is on |
