This Luminaire is designed for use with Hinkley-approved 12-volt landscape systems. Connection to other systems may cause premature failure or non- intended operation.
Product Usage Instructions
Lamp / Lens Replacement
- Find a clear area in which you can work.
- Remove the screws to take off the harp.
- Next, remove the glass lens by twisting it counter-clockwise and lifting it.
- Insert bi-pin bulb. Make sure the pins align with the holes in the socket.
- Replace the glass lens, and make sure the rubber washer is still attached.
- Replace the harp using the screws removed earlier.
Luminaire Mounting (for typical ground stake mounting )
- To prevent electrical shock, disconnect the transformer from the electrical supply before installation or service.
- Run a wire from Luminaire through the mounting hole in the top of the ground stake.
- Attach the Luminaire to the ground stake by threading to the mounting hole in the stake until it fits snuggly against the bottom of the stem.
- Place a stake in the desired position and insert it into the ground until the flange of the stake is flush with the ground.
- Strip the two wire leads from the Luminaire and connect to the main supply wire using the provided silicone-filled wire nuts.
Important Safety Instructions
- The lamp gets hot quickly! Contact only switch/plug when turning on.
- Do not touch the hot lens, guard, or enclosure.
- Keep lamps away from materials that may burn.
- Do not operate the luminaire fitting with a missing or damaged shield.
- Luminaires shall not be installed within 10 feet (3m) of a pool, spa, or fountain.

- Unpack the fixture and glass from the carton.
- Carefully review instructions prior to assembly.

Note: This Luminaire is designed for use with Hinkley-approved 12-volt
landscape systems. Connection to other systems may cause premature failure or

LUMINAIRE ASSEMBLY
- Remove the screws to take off the harp.

The main low-voltage cable from the Luminaire is to be
- Protected by routing in close proximity to the luminaire or fitting, or next to a building structure such as a house or deck.
- The main secondary wire is intended for shallow burial – less than 6 inches (15.2cm)
- in order to connect to the main low-voltage cable.
- Have the length cut off so that it is connected to a connector within 6 inches (15.2cm) from a building structure, a luminaire, or a fitting.
