• 16 M6 Button Head Bolt
• 12 M6 Serrated Flange Nut

Tools Needed:

• 10mm Socket
• 10mm Wrench
• Ratchet
• Torque Wrench

Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove contents from the box and verify if all parts listed are present and free from damage. Carefully read and understand all instructions before attempting installation. Failure to identify damage before installation could lead to a rejection of any claim.
2. Starting on the driver’s side, remove the two factory M6 bolts located at the front of the pinch weld. Refer to Figure 1 for reference.
3. Locate the Driver Side Front Pinch Weld Cover (Item 1) and mount it onto the vehicle using the provided M6 hardware (Items 5-7). Refer to Figure 2 for reference.
4. Repeat Step 3 for the Driver Side Rear Pinch Weld Cover (Item 2). Refer to Figure 2 for reference. Make sure to align the two pinch weld covers and adjust accordingly.
5. Repeat Steps 2-4 for the Passenger Side Front and Rear Pinch Weld Covers (Items 3 & 4).
6. Refer to Figure 3 and Figure 4 for the orientation of the Driver and Passenger Side Pinch Weld Covers.
7. Align and adjust the XTS Pinch Weld Covers as needed. Tighten and torque all M6 hardware to 7.80 ft-lbs.

DESCRIPTION

ANTI-SEIZE LUBRICANT MUST BE USED ON ALL STAINLESS STEEL FASTENERS TO PREVENT THREAD DAMAGE AND GALLING

OVERVIEW

PROCEDURE

1. Remove contents from box, verify if all parts listed are present and free from damage.
2. Carefully read and understand all instructions before attempting installation.
3. Failure to identify damage before installation could lead to a rejection of any claim.
4. Starting on the driver’s side, remove the two factory M6 bolts located at the front of the pinch weld. See Figure 1 for reference.
5. Locate the Driver Side Front Pinch Weld Cover (Item 1) and mount it onto the vehicle using the provided M6 hardware (Items 5-7). See Figure 2 for reference.
6. Repeat Step 3 for the Driver Side Rear Pinch Weld Cover (Item 2). See Figure 2 for reference. Make sure to align the two pinch weld covers and adjust accordingly
7. Repeat Steps 2 – 4 for the Passenger Side Front and Rear Pinch Weld Covers (Items 3 & 4).
8. See the orientation of the Driver and Passenger Side Pinch Weld Covers for reference in Figure 3 and Figure 4.
9. Align and adjust the XTS Pinch Weld Covers as needed. Tighten and torque all M6 hardware to 7.80 ft-lbs.

• FASTENERS:
  All Westin-supplied fasteners must be utilized and installed by the installation instructions and apply torque to the specifications as defined. DOUBLE CHECK ALL FASTENERS BEFORE INITIAL USE, AND PERIODICALLY IN THE FUTURE TO ENSURE PROPER FUNCTION AND SAFETY.

• DRILLING:
  Most Westin products do not require drilling for installation. If drilling is defined as required, use caution when drilling a vehicle. FAILURE TO REVIEW AN AREA TO BE DRILLED MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR INJURY TO OTHERS AS WELL AS VEHICLE DAMAGE.

• EYE PROTECTION:
  ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES OR GOGGLES DURING THE INSTALLATION PROCESS TO AVOID PERSONAL INJURY.

• MAXIMUM TOWING/CARRYING CAPACITY: (if applicable)
  The Westin Receiver Hitches will have a visible tow rating label affixed directly on the product. Users should never exceed the vehicle manufacturer’s maximum tow and weight rating regardless of the capacity of the hitch. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE GUIDELINES WILL VOID THE WESTIN WARRANTY AND MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR INJURY TO OTHERS AS WELL AS VEHICLE DAMAGE.
