Product Information

The telescopic stand is a product designed to securely hold the radiant heater IR 2000 S. It is adjustable in height, with a range of 1.3 meters to 1.5 meters. The stand weighs 6 kg and is made by Trotec GmbH.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Before assembly, read the instructions carefully.
  2. Check all parts against the scope of delivery.
  3. Loosely tighten screws for ease of assembly.
  4. Remove the 8 screws from the base section to detach the assembled pole and separate the base cover.
  5. Insert the 3 plugs from the floor fixing pack into the ground and align the base section over the plugs.
  6. Insert the 3 screws from the floor fixing pack and tighten them.
  7. Place the cover over the base section and reassemble using 4 screws.
  8. Use the remaining 4 screws to reattach the assembled pole to the base section.

Disposal
Always dispose of packing materials in an environmentally friendly manner and in accordance with the applicable local disposal regulations. In the United Kingdom, devices that are no  longer usable must be collected separately and disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner, according to Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2013 (SI 2013/3113) (as amended).

Scope of delivery

  • Prior to assembly: read the instructions carefully. Check all parts against the scope of delivery.
  • For ease of assembly only loosely tighten crews and then tighten fully when assembly is complete.

WARNING! – DO NOT over tighten the screws; only tighten with moderate pressure to avoid damaging the screws or components of the radiant heater.

Assembly

IMPORTANT! – Remove any packaging before use. Retain safety instructions and store them with this product.

  • STEP 1 – Remove 4x pre-attached inner screws on the base (1) and connect base pole (3) to the base (1).
  • STEP 2 – Slide the screw cover (2) over the base pole (3).
  • STEP 3 – Remove the pre-attached screws on the base pole (3) and slide over one of the two cable clips (6). Secure using pre-attached screw.
  • STEP 4 – Attach the middle pole (4) to the base pole (3) using 3x pre-attached screws.
  • STEP 5 – Remove the pre-attached screws on the middle pole (4) and slide over the second cable clip (6). Secure using pre-attached screw.
  • STEP 6 – Attach the top pole (5) to the middle pole (4) using the 3x  pre-attached screws.
  • STEP 7 – Slide the small cable clip (7) over the top pole (5). Secure with pre-attached screw.
  • STEP 8 – Join radiant heater IR 2000 S to the extending top pole (5) using knob (A) and tighten it hand-tight.
  • STEP 9 – Clip the cable into the 3x cable clips (6, 7).

To fix your product to the floor, remove the 8x screws from the base section (1), removing the assembled pole and separating the base cover.
Insert the 3x plugs from the floor fixing pack (B) into the ground and align the base section over the plugs.
Insert the 3x screws from floor fixing pack (B) and tighten them.
Place the cover over the base section and reassemble using 4x screws. Use the 4x remaining screws to reattach the assembled pole to the base section (1).
