Quick Installation Guide
1. MOUNT THE SENSOR
Using the mounting template supplied mount the sensor within 50mm of the bottom of the door controller cover.
- Max 50mm
- 3.0m (9.84ft) or less
2. SET MAIN DIPSWITCHES AS ILLUSTRATED
Dip Switch (X)
- Presence Timer: 30s
- No. Rows of Detection: 5 rows
Dip Switch (Y)
- Frequency: A (Change if another HR100 sensor is close by)
- Safety Output: N.C.
- Reflection Diagnostics: OFF
Dip Switch (Z)
- Direction Detection: OFF
- Activation Output: N.O.
- Monitor (Snow) Mode: OFF
- Door Hold Open: OFF
- Door Learn: OFF
- Test Input: ON (Set to OFF for nonEN16005 doors)
3. CONNECT TO THE DOOR CONTROLLER
Note: For EN16005 door controllers set Z6 to “ON” and connect the Gray & Brown wires to the door controller. If the door controller does not have a “TEST INPUT” set Z6 to “OFF” and do not connect the Gray & Brown wires

4. LED INDICATORS

Orange | Detection row “ROW1”(“ROW2” when doorway Learning is turned ON) is |
detecting door movement.
Fast flashing Orange| Indicates a change of dip switch settings.
Slow flashing Orange| Door Hold is turned Open (When dip switch (Z) 4 is
Open)
Fast flashing Green/Red | Internal Sensor Error.
Slow flashing Green/Red| Reflected infrared signal from the floor is very low.
5. SET SAFETY DETECTION AREA
With Base

Depth adjustment lever: Inner 3 rows

[0 degree] setting

[-8 degree] setting
Note: Adjust the depth adjustment lever arm so that the detection area is directly in front of the moving door leaf. The sensor base can be removed if required.
6. SET DESIRED DOOR OPENING DETECTION AREA
With Base

Depth adjustment lever: Outer 2 rows

Width Adjustment: Inner 3 rows

7. DOOR LEARN
Turning Door Learn ON (Z5) , allows the 1st row of detection to be focused
inside the door close area without detecting door movement.
When Door Learn is turned on, the red LED will blink once, followed by a green
blinking LED, which will turn solid green once the door learn process has been
completed.

- 1st row of detection in front of the moving door
- 1st row of detection inside of the moving door
Note: Sensor base plate will probably have to be removed to allow the 1st row of detection to be focused inside the moving door leaf
