Product Information

The 8 Bay Charger is designed for charging AA/AAA NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries. It features eight independent battery charging channels, allowing you to charge up to eight batteries simultaneously. The charger has protection against short circuits, power surges, and reverse polarity. It also has a universal 100~240 V AC input, making it suitable for use worldwide.

Safety Warnings

  • Do not charge any battery other than AA or AAA NiMH or NiCd batteries. Other types of batteries can burst, causing personal injury and damage.
  • Do not disassemble the charger. Take the charger to a qualified service technician when service or repair is required. Improper assembly may result in the risk of electric shock or fire.
  • Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow or has been dropped or damaged in any way.

  • Always unplug the charger from the AC outlet before handling the batteries.

Product Usage Instructions:

Charging Batteries:

  1. Insert up to 8 AA/AAA NiMH or NiCd rechargeable batteries into the battery chambers.
  2. Make sure to align the batteries with the + and – symbols marked inside each chamber.
  3. The charging status LEDs will glow red when the batteries are charging.
  4. Once charging is complete, the LEDs will turn green.
    Note: If the LED flashes, remove the batteries and ensure they are seated properly. If flashing continues, it may indicate a defective battery. Replace the batteries with new ones.

  • This Watson product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or parts) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.

  • To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Watson Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Watson along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
