Filters and tank cleaning. Fig. 8

  • To avoid the appliance from overheating and losing suction power, it is suggested to clean the filters frequently. To make the most of the suction power, it is suggested to clean the filter after every use.
  • The filters shelf life will depend on the accumulated use and the type of particles which are frequently vacuumed. It is recommended to replace the filters approximately every 6 months.
  1. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched off and is not connected to a mains socket.
  2. Press the dust-tank release button and remove it.

Cleaning the brushes

  • The brushes rotate at high speed and help to pull the dirt into the suction mouth. They are in contact with the floor, and therefore with dirt, so they can wear out overtime, thus negatively affecting cleaning efficiency. It is recommended to clean the brushes once a week (depending on usage frequency).
  1. Make sure the vacuum cleaner is switched off and is not connected to a mains socket.
  2. Slide the tab located on the side of the motorized brush.
  3. You can then remove the Jalisco brush and the Mixed brush from inside the dual motorized brush and clean it.
  • To avoid damage to the dual motorised brush, you must remove any hair wrapped around the brushes.
  • You can clean the brushes with warm water, do not use soap or detergents. However, it is recommended that you shake it out or vacuum it, to avoid inserting it wet in motorised brush.
  • If you decide to wash the brushes, make sure they are completely dry before installing them again on the vacuum cleaner.
  • When refitting the brushes, you must ensure that they are correctly installed.
