OPERATION

AC Operation
Before operating the NPO04A, make sure that the voltage on the unit corresponds to the voltage of your local area. Unravel the AC Line Cord; insert one end into an AC socket on the unit and the other end into a standard AC outlet.

  1.  In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge (ESD), reset the unit by reconnecting the AC cord again to resume to normal operation.
  2.  When not in use, unplug the AC power cord from the AC power socket.

Battery Operation
Disconnect the AC Cord. Open the BATTERY compartment and insert 6 x “C” or UM2 batteries (not included) making sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is observed. Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.
Basic Operation

  1.  Press the POWER ON/OFF BUTTON to turn on/off the unit.
  2.  Adjust the sound level by rotating the VOLUME CONTROL KNOB.

Listening to the radio

  1.  Press the MODE BUTTON to select FM radio. “FM frequency, show on the LCD SCREEN.
  2.  Press and hold the /SCAN/M+ BUTTON to search all the FM stations.
  3.  When it stops searching the stations, all the FM stations have been found and stored. It can store 30 FM stations.
  4.  Press the /SCAN/M+ BUTTON or ****/REP/RAND/ PROG/M- BUTTON to select the stations.
  5.  To activate the manual search, press the REWIND BUTTON or FORWARD BUTTON to decrease or increase frequency by 0.1 MHZ.
  6.  Fully extend and reorient the antenna to improve FM reception.

Playing a CD

  1. Open the CD DOOR, place a CD disc into the CD compartment and close the CD DOOR.
  2. Press the MODE BUTTON to select CD play mode. “CD” show on the LCD screen.It will start playback automatically.
  3.  Control the CD playback using , and ****
  4. Press and hold ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON to stop the CD playback. The total number of tracks show on the LCD SCREEN.

OPERATION

When in CD play mode, every time you press the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON, it will cycle through the following modes:

Repeat Mode and Random Mode

  1. Repeat 1:
    Press the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON once, the Repeat Indicator “REP” show on the LCD SCREEN. This single track of music will be repeated.

  2. Repeat All:
    Press the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTO twice, the Repeat All Indicator ” REP ALL” show on the LCD SCREEN. The whole disc will be played continously.

  3.  Press the /REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON three times, the Random Indicator ” RAND” show on the LCD screen. Then press the FORWARD BUTTON or REWIND ****BUTTON All music will play in random order.

  4. Press the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON four times, it will return to normal CD playback.

Program Mode

  1.  During the stop mode, press the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON once. The number of program to be memorized will blink continuously.
  2.  Press the FORWARD or REWIND BUTTON to your desired track, the LCD SCREEN will show the appropriate track number. Press the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON.
  3. Repeat above procedure until all desired tracks have been programmed. A total of 20 tracks can be stored in memory.
  4.  Press the PLAY/PAUSE ****BUTTON once to start the program playback.
  5.  To check the program you have stored after completing programming. During stop mode, then press the FORWARD ****BUTTON once, the LCD SCREEN will show the first programmed track number. Repeat above procedure to read all the programmed memory.
  6.  Press and hold the ****/REP/RAND/PROG/M- BUTTON to cancel the programmed memory.

Playing audio via Bluetooth

  1.  Press the MODE BUTTON to select Bluetooth mode. “BT” blinks continuously on the LCD SCREEN, and the unit is now in pairing mode.
  2.  Verify that the Bluetooth function of Bluetooth device is enabled.
  3.  Choose the Bluetooth menu in your Bluetooth device, and from the found devices, select the “GC04B”. If you are prompted to enter the PIN code, please enter “O000” four zeros)
  4.  For more information, see the user manual of Bluetooth device.
  5.  After a successful pairing, the “BT” will show on the LCD SCREEN. Then play the music from the Bluetooth device.

Playing audio via USB port

  1. Press the MODE BUTTON to select USB mode. The LCD SCREEN shows “USB”.
  2. Insert a USB drive into the USB port, the total number of the folder(s) and then the track(s) show on the LCD SCREEN. Then the first track will play automatically.
  3. All functions are operated same as CD playback.

Playing Other Audio Devices
The player features an AUX IN jack to facilitate playback from other audio devices (MP3 players, mobile phones, etc.) through 3.5mm plug aux cable.

  1.  Insert a 3.5mm plug aux cable (not included) into the AUX IN jack in the front of the player.
  2.  Press the MODE BUTTON to select AUX IN mode, the LCD Screen will show “AUX.
  3.  Turn the audio device on and follow the playback instructions found in its owner’s manual.

Note: When an audio device is plugged into this player while a CD is playing, CD playback will stop automatically.

Listening to the music by using the headphone
A stereo headphone jack is provided for private listening. To listen to the player with headphones (not included), insert the 3.5mm mini-stereo plug from the headphones into the HEADPHONE JACK. The external speakers are automatically disconnected when headphones are used.

BASIC WARRANTY STATEMENT

We warrant the product to the original purchaser ONLY, to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for ONE Year from date of the original purchase. We agree, at our option, under the warranty period, to replace the product if it is determined to be defective at no charge. This limited warranty does not cover any loss or damages that occur as a result of:

  • Cosmetic damage.
  • Shipping or improper installation or maintenance.
  • Misuse.
  • Neglect.
  • Any cause other than ordinary commercial or industrial application.
  • Adjustment by non-authorized source or any of the products firmware or hardware that you or any third party have modified or altered
  • Improper environment
  • Excessive or inadequate heating or air conditioning or electrical power failures, surges, connection to improper voltage supply or settings or othe irregularities.
  • Accidents, acts of God.

To obtain factory service, the original purchaser MUST present the following:

  1.  A sales receipt/proof of purchase indicating date of purchase.
  2.  Your Name, Place of Purchase, Address, Unitodel, and Description of Problem.
  3.  Send the unit pre-paid to the address below in the original packaging or a reasonable substitute to prevent damage. No return ill be shipped back to a PO BOX.
  4.  All of the accessories that came with the product package must be sent along with the main unit.
  5.  Please include your check or money order in the amount of $15.00, payable to SGM Direct, to cover handling and return shipping charges. We will not be responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting from a purchaser’s fails to provide any or all of the necessary information.
