Sunco Lighting ANT-6-4T Bi-level PIR Sensor for High Bay Light

Product Information

The Bi-level PIR Sensor For High Bay Light (model ANT-6-4T) is designed to be mounted in an outdoor lighting fixture. It provides multi-level control based on motion and daylight contribution. The sensor can control 0-10 VDC LED drivers or dimming ballasts and is suitable for wet and cold locations. All control parameters can be adjusted using a wireless configuration tool capable of storing the settings.

Specifications

  • Power supply: 12V-24V DC, >30mA

Corridor Function
The Bi-level PIR Sensor offers a corridor function that allows for tri- level control. This function is useful for areas that require a light change notice before switch-off. The sensor provides three levels of light: 100% brightness, dimmed light (when natural light is insufficient), and off. It also offers two selectable waiting times: motion hold time and stand-by period. The corridor function includes a selectable daylight threshold and freedom of detection area. When there is sufficient natural light, the light does not switch on when presence is detected. However, when there is insufficient natural light, the sensor automatically switches on the light when presence is detected. After the hold time, if the surrounding natural light is below the daylight threshold, the light dims to the stand-by level. The light switches off automatically after the stand-by period elapses.

Daylight Sensor Function
The Bi-level PIR Sensor also includes a daylight sensor function. To activate this function, press the push button on the remote control while it is in setting condition. With the daylight sensor function enabled, the light switches on at 100% brightness when movement is detected. After the hold time, the light dims to the stand-by level. In this demonstration setting, the hold time is set to 30 minutes, the setpoint on is 50 lux, the setpoint off is 300 lux, the stand-by dim is 10%, and the stand-by period is unlimited (when the smart photocell sensor is open, the standby time is only unlimited). The light remains at the dimming level during nighttime. The cycle of the light operation is as follows: it turns on at 100% brightness when movement is detected and dims to 10% brightness during long absences. When the natural light level exceeds the setpoint, the light will turn off even if the space is occupied. The hold time ends when no motion is detected.

Sensor Coverage
The sensor coverage diagram shows the detection radius of the Bi-level PIR Sensor. The coverage extends up to 30 feet (9 meters) in all directions from the sensor location.

WARNING

  • NOTE : Warm-up time is 40 seconds. After the sensor connects input power first time, keep the light on for 40 seconds, then it will work as normal.
  • NOTE : Factory Default Setting: 100% sensitivity, Hold on time: 5min, Daylight sensor is -Q-, Dimming level: 30%, Dimming time: 60minutes.
  • NOTE : Any setting changed by the remote control, the led light that the sensor connects will on/off as confirmed.

Corridor Function

This function inside the motion sensor to achieve tri-level control, for some areas that require a light change notice before switch-off_ The sensor offers 3 levels of light: 100%–>dimmed light (natural light is insufficient) –>off; and 2 periods of selectable waiting time: motion hold-time and stand-by period; Selectable daylight threshold and freedom of detection area.

  • With sufficient natural light, the light does not switch on when presence is detected.
  • With insufficient natural light, the sensor switches on the light automatically when presence is detected.
  • After hold-time, the light dims to stand-by level if the surrounding natural light is below the daylight threshold.
  • The light switches off automatically after the stand-by period elapses.

Daylight Sensor Function

Settings on this demonstration:

  • Hold-time: 30min
  • Setpoint on:50Iux
  • Setpoint off:300Iux
  • Stand-by Dim: 10%
  • Stand-by period: +oo
(when the smart photocell sensor opens, the standby time is only +oo)

Open the daylight sensor by pushing when the remote control is in setting condition.

  • The light switches on at 100% when there is movement detected.
  • The light dims to a stand-by level after the hold time.
  • The light remains in a dimming level at night.
