Thank you for choosing our product. We hope you will enjoyusing the appliance. Read the instruction manual and the separately enclosed safety instructions very carefully before using this appliance. Keep these documents, including the warranty certificate, receipt, and, if possible, the box with the inner packaging in a safe place. If you pass the appliance on to a third party, always include all the relevant documents.

Important information for your safety is specially marked. It is essential to
comply with these instructions in order to avoid accidents and prevent damage
to the appliance:

This refers to possible hazards to the appliance or other objects.
Unpacking the Appliance
CAUTION:
When unpacking the appliance and removing the packaging material, make sure
not to tilt the appliance more than 45 °, otherwise, the cooling compressor
could get damaged.

Remove the appliance from its packaging.

Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties, and cardboard packaging.

Check the scope of delivery for completeness.
-
If the contents of the packaging are incomplete or if the damage can be detected, do not operate the appliance.
Return it to the dealer immediately. A rattling noise during transport of the appliance is due to the design and is not a reason for complaint. -
There may still be dust or production residues on the appliance. We recommend that you clean the appliance as described under “Cleaning”.

Warnings for the Use of the Appliance
WARNING:
The refrigerant circuit of the appliance uses the refrigerant isobutane
(R600a), flammable natural gas with high environmental sustainability. When
transporting and installing the appliance, prevent the appliance from falling
down. The refrigerant circuit must not get damaged.
CAUTION:
Please observe a waiting period of 2 hours before initial operation and after
moving the appliance for the refrigerant to settle. Otherwise the compressor
can be damaged.
If the Refrigerant Circuit is Damaged
- Open flames and ignition sources must be avoided.
- Disconnect the mains plug.
- Ventilate the room in which the appliance is installed.
Notes for Use
Location
- Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and level surface. Maintain a gap of at least 15 cm to walls or objects.
- Do not place the appliance on or directly next to heat sources such as ovens, radiators, etc.
Electrical Connection
Before inserting the plug into the socket. Make sure that the mains voltage to
be used matches that of the appliance. You can find this information on the
nameplate.
Standby (Standby Mode)
The appliance is in standby mode when the display shows. The appliance
switches to standby mode in the following situations:
- When the mains plug is plugged in.
- If no button is pressed for approx. 10 seconds.
- When the programme is finished. Three signals sound.
- When you press and hold the button for approx. 2 seconds.
Button Functions
The buttons on the appliance are touch buttons. Touch the buttons lightly with
a finger to perform the function. Each key press is confirmed with a beep.

Press the button to exit standby mode. The light switches on and the appliance is preset to 1 hour with programme “Ice preparation”.

Use the button to select a program The respective control lamp shows which programme is selected.

Use the and buttons to set an operating time between 5 – 120 minutes. If you keep the buttons pressed, a fast run starts. The operating time cannot be changed during
operation. -
Use the button to start the programs.
-
By using the button you can interrupt a program for a maximum of 3 minutes. When preparing the ice cream, the compressor will continue cooling for 3 minutes. Press the button again to continue the program. If you do not continue the programme within 3 minutes, you will hear 1 beep. The appliance switches to standby mode.

If you want to cancel a programme, press and hold the button for approx. 2 seconds.

Wait at least 5 minutes before switching the appliance on again to allow the pressure in the refrigerant circuit to relax.
Operating Time
-
The preparation time of the ice cream varies. It depends on:
– recipe,
– the temperature of the mixture,
– ambient temperature,
– desired consistency. -
Do not leave the appliance unattended during use. Constantly check the consistency of the mixture while preparing the ice cream.

The ice cream mixture must not be too liquid or too viscous.
Protection Features during Ice Cream Preparation
-
If the stirrer stops during operation due to the solidification of the ice cream, the motor will be blocked.
1. Switch off the appliance immediately and disconnect the mains plug.
2. Remove the ice cream. -
You can start another ice cream program immediately after the previous program has finished. For safety reasons though, the compressor will only turn on after
approx. 5 minutes. -
If you have prepared several ice cream batches in sequence, the overheat protection might get triggered. In such a case, the compressor will not turn on. Let the appliance cool down for approx. 30 minutes before starting again.
Preparation for Making Ice Cream
- Make sure that the ice container is completely dry before you insert it. Place the ice cream container in the recess of the base. Pay attention to the recesses.
- Place the stirring tool in the ice bucket.
- Fill the ice cream container with the desired ingredients.
– Do not fill the ice cream container with ingredients of more than 750 ml!
– Use ingredients that are of 6 – 8 °C fridge temperature.
– The ingredients must not be frozen; otherwise, the motor could get blocked.
– When making ice cream with fruits, only use soft, seedless fruits and pulp (puree) them beforehand. You can also add fruit juice.
– When making ice cream with solid pieces of fruits, nuts, brittle, or with alcohol, wait until the end of the cooling time before adding such ingredients.
– Alcohol impedes the freezing operation.
– Add the puréed fruits and/or alcohol through the fill opening.
Operating the Appliance

Place the lid on the▲ appliance. Place it so that the symbol on the cover points to the symbol on the base unit. Turn the lid towards the icon until it locks into
place. -
Put on the motor for the stirring tool. Make sure that the drive shaft of the motor is placed in the stirring tool. This must engage audibly.

Make sure that the refill opening is closed.

Connect the mains plug to a wall socket.

Exit standby mode by pressing the button.

Use the and buttons to set the operating time.

Confirm your entry by pressing the button. The program will start.

After the time has elapsed, the appliance will emit 3 signal sounds. appears in the display. If you have selected the programme , the compressor cools for another 10 minutes. The control lamp also lights up.
Removing the Ice Cream

Switch off the appliance by pressing and holding the button for approx. 2 seconds. The appliance switches to standby mode.

Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket.
-
Remove the motor for the stirring tool. To do this, press the buttons on the motor and pull it off upwards.

Turn the lid towards the icon.
-
Remove the ice cream container and the stirrer.
WARNING: Risk of Cold Burns!
Protect your hands wearing gloves when touching the ice cream container.
– Remove the ice cream from the container using the ice cream scoop provided or silicone or wooden spoon. Do not use metal spoons in order not to scratch the container coating. -
Store the ice cream in a pre-cooled container with lid.
– The ice cream tastes best when fresh.
– If you do not plan to eat the ice cream immediately, we recommend keeping the prepared ice cream in the freezer.
– Do not refreeze ice cream once unfrozen or thawed!
Recipes for Making Ice Cream
- Please refer to the instructions in chapter “Preparation for Making Ice Cream” when preparing the ice cream mixture.
- Amounts specified in the recipes are for reference only. Adjust according to your taste.
- If you would like to increase the quantities to a maximum of 750 ml, the ingredients must be adjusted in the correct proportions. The preparation time prolongs accordingly.
- Check other cookbooks or online for more recipes.
Vanilla Ice Cream
(Approx. 5 servings)
Vanilla extract | 1 – 2 teaspoons |
---|---|
Whole milk | 250 ml |
Cream | 375 ml |
Sugar | 125 g |
- Use a hand mixer and mix all ingredients in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved. Fill the chilled mixture into the ice cream container.
- Preparation time with the ice cream maker: approx. 30 – 40 minutes
Chocolate Ice Cream
(Approx. 4 servings)
Vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon |
---|---|
Whole milk | 200 ml |
Cream | 200 ml |
Sugar | 100 g |
Chocolate bar, bitter or dark | 1 teaspoon 200 ml 200 ml 100 g |
- Cook the milk and cream together with the chocolate and sugar. Stir with a mixer suitable for hot foods. Let the ice cream mixture cool down and then keep in the fridge for 24 hours. Before filling the chilled ice cream mixture into the ice cream container, stir it one more time.
- Preparation time with the ice cream maker: approx. 20 – 30 minutes
Strawberry Ice Cream
(Approx. 4 servings)
Strawberries, fresh, ripe, sliced | 180 g |
---|---|
Lemon juice, fresh, squeezed | 1 tablespoon |
Vanilla extract | 1 teaspoon |
Whole milk | 180 ml |
Cream | 180 ml |
Sugar | 90 g |
- Mix the strawberries with lemon juice and approx. 60 g of sugar. Leave the mixture to stand for 2 hours in order for the juice to separate.
- Use a hand mixer and mix the remaining sugar and milk at the lowest setting, until the sugar has dissolved.
- Then stir the cream, strawberry juice, and vanilla extract into the milk.
- Fill the chilled ice cream mixture into the ice cream container.
- Preparation time with the ice cream maker: approx. 30 – 40 minutes
- Add the strawberries during the last 10 minutes of the freezing operation.
Sorbet Basic Recipe
Fruit juice/fruits, puréed | 600 ml |

Sugar (depending on the fruits) | 75 g |
Egg white | 1 tablespoons |
- Use a hand mixer and mix all ingredients in a bowl until the sugar has dissolved. Fill the chilled ice cream mixture into the ice cream container.
- Preparation time with the ice cream maker: approx. 30 – 40 minutes
- Refine the taste by adding 1 tablespoon of liqueur, cognac, raspberry brandy, or similar at the end of the freezing operation.
- Sorbet should be eaten quite quickly to prevent it from getting liquid again.
Cleaning
WARNING:
- Always switch off the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the socket before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water! Doing so may result in an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use any wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Do not use chemicals, acids, petrol, or oil products.
- The container, the stirring tool, and the lid are not suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. They could get deformed or discolored by heat and aggressive cleaners.
- You can clean the container, the stirring tool, and the lid in warm rinsing water with a little hand dishwashing liquid. Dry the accessories well afterward.
- Clean the base and the recess with a damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
