COMPATIBILITY

Our adapter can be utilized to power or charge:

  • USB-charged devices, including iPhone, Samsung, and other Android phones, tablets, power banks, cameras, batteries, headphones, and smart watches;
  • A compact power supply with “100-240V, 50/60Hz” printed on it, such as a phone or tablet charger or the majority of laptops, which supports dual (worldwide) voltage.
  • Some brands may use “110-230V”, “110/250V”, or a version of a range comparable to this.

ALL-IN-ONE DESIGN

EPICKA-TA-105U-niversal-Travel-Adapter-fig-3

It shares blades with the US plug, and you need to manually turn them to the slant ”╱ ╲”shape.

NOT A VOLTAGESIZEER

  • The typical AC outlets in the US and Canada range from 110 to 120 volts. They range from 220-240V in several other nations, including Europe.
  • You should be aware that our adaptor DOES NOT convert voltage.
  • It is strongly forbidden to use a single voltage device at an incompatible voltage through our adapter because doing so will harm your equipment and have negative effects including overheating, smoke, fire, or even explosion.
  • Typically, such devices will have “120V, 60Hz” and/or “household use only” written on them. Some brands may use “117V”, “110-130V”, or another variation of a related number or range.

Need to Check: Electric toothbrushes, CPAP, and hair tools.

NOT ALLOWED : Dyson items; any appliance (hair dryer, steamer, etc.) rated at more than 1600W, even if it bears the “dual voltage” designation.

ALTERATION OF THE FUSE
This adapter has 4 fuses: 2 in the “spare & fuse” box on the plug side and 2 more spares in a separate pouch.

Note : The most frequent cause of a malfunctioning adapter AC outlet is a blown fuse. It is almost definite that the fuse is blown if the AC stops working but the USB ports continue to function, especially if this occurs after using a high-power item like a hair dryer. The fuse has an 8A breaking power.

CHARGE 6 DEVICE AT THE SAME TIME
4 USB Ports 1 Type C and 1 AC Socket to charge 6 devices simultaneously

APPENDIX

A COMPATIBLE SOCKETS APPENDIX
If you reside in the US and intend to bring a 2- or 3-prong equipment into another country, please refer to this chart. Once more, you must ensure that the input voltage of the device you want to connect is compatible with the voltage of the local power network. Type A, B, C, E, F, G, H, I, J, K, L, N, and O sockets can accept the TA-105 adapter. If you’re planning on traveling to India, Nepal, or South Africa using our TA-105 adapter, check sure your accommodations have the newer Type C or Type N sockets because it will NOT fit into a Type D or Type M socket. If not, or if you are unsure, you must carry particular Type D or Type M adapters.

PLUGS ACCEPTED IN APPENDIX B
If you want to know if your gadget, which you didn’t buy in the US, can be plugged into our TA-105 travel adapter, please refer to this chart. Type A, B, C, E/F, G, I, J, L, and N connectors from other nations can be used with the TA-105 adaptor.

200+ COMPATIBLE COUNTRIES & REGIONS APPENDIX C
The majority of nations in Europe, North America, and Australia have established standards for plugs, sockets, and voltage. However, a lot of South American, Asian, and African nations follow a variety of standards, some of which are incompatible for historical reasons. In several nations, the voltage varies even from region to region. Travelers find it extremely challenging to establish what kind of adaptor (or voltage transformer) is required for their journey as a result. To the best of our knowledge, we created this list to provide you with a rough overview of the plug and socket kinds that are utilized across more than 200 nations and locations. No single list could, however, cover all areas and be 100 percent correct due to the vast number of places in the world and constantly evolving legislation. The accuracy and timeliness of the information given here are not warranted by us. It is still your job to conduct additional, in-depth study on adapters for your trip, so you shouldn’t rely exclusively on the information in the list. If you’re a US or Canadian visitor and you don’t see Type D or M in that area, our adaptor will still function as long as your equipment is dual voltage or utilizes the same voltage. You should conduct extra investigation if you see Type D or M. You can message us for more details as well.

DO NOT USE HIGH POWER APPLIANCES

Safety

  • Check Compatibility: Before using the adapter, ensure that it is compatible with the country’s electrical outlets you are visiting. The adapter should have the correct plug configuration to fit into the local outlets.
  • Voltage Compatibility: Verify that your electronic devices are compatible with the voltage of the country you are visiting. Some countries have different voltage standards, and using devices with the wrong voltage can damage them. If needed, use a voltage converter in addition to the adapter.
  • Grounded Outlets: Be cautious when using devices with three-prong plugs that require grounding. The adapter may not provide grounding if the outlet doesn’t support it. In such cases, consider using a surge protector with a grounding feature.
  • Do Not Overload: Avoid overloading the adapter with too many devices or high-power appliances simultaneously. The EPICKA TA-105 has a built-in fuse for protection, but exceeding its capacity can still lead to overheating or damage.
  • Read the User Manual: Familiarize yourself with the user manual provided by the manufacturer. It contains essential information about the adapter’s usage, compatible countries, and safety precautions.
  • Unplug When Not in Use: When you’re finished using the adapter or charging your devices, always unplug it from the wall outlet to prevent any electrical issues.
  • Keep Away from Water: Ensure that the adapter and your electronic devices are kept away from water and moisture. Do not use the adapter in wet or damp environments, and keep it dry at all times.
  • Inspect for Damage: Regularly inspect the adapter for any signs of damage, such as frayed cords or loose parts. If you notice any issues, discontinue use and replace the adapter.
  • Avoid Extreme Temperatures: Do not expose the adapter to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight for extended periods. Heat or extreme cold can affect its performance and safety.
  • Supervise Children: If you’re traveling with children, make sure they understand how to use the adapter safely. Keep it out of their reach when not in use.
  • Use Surge Protectors: For added protection against power surges and fluctuations, consider using surge protectors in conjunction with the adapter when charging sensitive electronic devices.
  • Emergency Services: Familiarize yourself with the emergency contact numbers and procedures in the country you’re visiting in case of electrical emergencies.
  • Buy from Reputable Sources: Purchase your travel adapter from reputable sources and avoid counterfeit or low-quality adapters, as they may pose safety risks.

Maintenance

  • Regular Cleaning:
    • Dust and debris can accumulate in the adapter’s prongs and sockets over time. Use a soft brush or compressed air to clean out any foreign particles.
  • Store Properly:
    • When not in use, store the travel adapter in a clean and dry place, away from direct sunlight, moisture, and extreme temperatures.
  • Check for Damage:
    • Periodically inspect the adapter for any visible damage, such as cracks, loose parts, or frayed cables. If you notice any issues, discontinue use and contact the manufacturer or authorized service center for repairs or replacement.
  • Avoid Overloading:
    • Do not overload the travel adapter with too many devices at once. Each outlet has a maximum load capacity, and exceeding it may cause overheating or damage to the adapter.
  • Check Compatibility:
    • Ensure that the adapter is compatible with the voltage and plug types of the country you are traveling to. Using the wrong adapter in a different voltage system can damage your devices.
  • Reset When Necessary:
    • If the adapter has built-in surge protection or a reset button and it trips due to a power surge or overload, reset it by pressing the button. However, investigate the cause of the surge and address it to prevent future incidents.
  • Keep Away from Water:
    • Always keep the travel adapter away from water or liquids. If it gets wet, allow it to dry completely before using it to avoid electrical short-circuits.
  • Use with Proper Devices:
    • Only use the travel adapter with devices that are compatible with the local voltage and frequency. For devices not compatible, consider using a voltage converter or transformer.
  • Avoid Excessive Force:
    • Be gentle when plugging and unplugging devices from the adapter to avoid bending or damaging the adapter’s pins and sockets.
  • Follow Manufacturer Instructions:
    • Refer to the user manual provided by the manufacturer for specific maintenance guidelines and any recommended cleaning or care instructions.
  • Replace If Necessary:
    • Travel adapters are not designed for indefinite use, and their components can wear out over time. If you notice that the adapter no longer fits securely in outlets or is not making proper connections, it may be time to replace it with a new one.

Troubleshooting

Adapter Not Working:

  • Check Power Source: Ensure that the power source you are using is functioning correctly. Plug the adapter into a working electrical outlet.
  • Reset the Adapter: Some universal adapters have a reset button or switch. Try resetting the adapter if it’s available.
  • Inspect the Adapter: Examine the adapter for any visible damage, loose connections, or bent pins. If you notice any damage, the adapter may need replacement.
  • Check Voltage Compatibility: Ensure that the voltage in the region you are using the adapter is within the supported range of the adapter. Some regions have different voltage standards, and the adapter may not work if the voltage is incompatible.

Device Not Charging:

  • Check Device Compatibility: Verify that the device you are trying to charge is compatible with the adapter’s plug and voltage output. Not all devices are compatible with all types of adapters.
  • Use the Correct Port: Ensure that you are using the correct port on the adapter for your device. Many universal adapters have multiple USB ports and plug types.
  • Inspect the Charging Cable: Sometimes, the issue may be with the charging cable. Make sure the cable is not damaged, and try using a different cable to see if it works.

Overheating or Short-Circuiting:

  • Unplug Immediately: If you notice the adapter becoming unusually hot, smelling like burnt plastic, or experiencing any sparks or unusual behavior, unplug it immediately from the power source to prevent further damage or safety hazards.
  • Do Not Force: Do not force the adapter into an incompatible outlet or device. It may damage the adapter or the device, and it can be a safety hazard.

Loose Connection:

  • Ensure a Secure Connection: Make sure the adapter is securely plugged into both the wall outlet and your device. Loose connections can result in unreliable power delivery.

Adapter Not Fitting Properly:

  • Verify Compatibility: Confirm that you are using the correct plug type for the region you are in. Some regions have different plug standards, and using the wrong plug type may result in an improper fit.
