Installation Gulde

Download the Meross app.

Connect power cable and power the device up.

Set up the device.

Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

Make sure your smart device is covered by strong Wi-Fi signal.

The smart device supports iOS 13/ iPadOS 13 and later. It is recommended that you upgrade your iOS or iPadOS to the latest version before pairing with the smart device.

Launch the Meross opp and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.

Tap the”+” icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.

Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with strong Wi-Fi signal.
NOTE:
- If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going any further.
- As long as you finish configuration, you’ll be able to manage the device in Apple Home opp.
- If the QR code does not work, please try to add the smart device in Apple Home opp.

LED and Button Rules

When light is OFF
Short press to turn on the light.
When light is ON
Short press twice quickly to turn off the light.
Short press to change color or effect.
Long press to change brightness. -
Short press to change the working mode: white -color – effect.

Short press ta enable/disable count-down timer. Hold for 5 seconds to reset the device.

LED off: count down timer disabled.
Solid white: count down timer enabled -
LED off: white mode.
Solid white: color mode.
Solid green: effect mode.
Two LEDs blink white slowly simultoneously: ready for setup.
Two LEDs blink white rapidly simultaneously: Network not functioning
properly.
Two LEDs blink in turns: connecting to the Wi-Fi network.
How to Use
Voice Control
Link Meross to Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa:
Set up the device in the Meross app and link it to the voice assistants.
Link to Amazon Alexa
Go to Account-> Amazon Alexa and allow Meross to link with Alexa.
Link to Google Assistant
Go to Account-> Google Assistant and follow the step-by-step instructions to
complete the linking process.
The example commands are as follows:
- “Hey Siri, turn on the smart light.
- “Hey Siri, turn off the smart light.
- “Hey Siri, is the smart light on?”
The example commands are as follows:
- ‘Alesa, set the smart light to red.”
- ‘A/esa, set the smart light warmer.”
- ‘Alesa, dim smart light by 30%.”
The example commands are as follows:
- “Hey Coogle, brighten smart light.”
- “Hey Coogle, set the smart light to cool white.”
- “Hey Coogle, change the smart light to magenta.”

What if I cannot link Meross to Google Assistant/ Amazon Alexa?
Make sure you’ve set up your smart device in the Meross opp.

CD Link to Google Assistant
Open the Google Home opp, tap the”+” icon on the top left, select Set up Device-> Works with Google.
Tap the search tool and enter “Meross” in the search box.
Tap the Meross icon, log in to your Meross account, and tap Authorize to allow Google to control your Meross device. -
Link to Amazon Alexa
Open the Amazon Alexa opp, go to Devices, tap the “+” icon at the top right and select Add Device. Enter “Meross” and select Meross in the search box under the question, tap Next to enable the Meross skill.
Log in to your Meross account and tap Authorize to allow Amazon Alexa to access your Meross device.
How do I manage my Meross device in Apple Home app?
Your Meross smart device will be automatically added to Apple Home opp after
you finish configuration in the Meross opp.
Why is my Meross smart device not responding in the Apple Home app?
This is an exisitng issue with Apple Home opp. You need to exit and reboot
your Home opp to fix this problem.
What if I can’t control the smart device with the Meross app?
You can troubleshoot the following:
- Check if your home Wi-Fi is working properly.
- Make sure that you have disabled access control in your router and that the smart device is not blocked by the router’s firmware.
- Factory reset your smart device and try to add it again.
How do I reset my Meross Smart Ambient Light?
When light is powered on, hold the” ” icon button for 5 seconds, it will reset
and enter Wi-Fi configuration mode.
Note, that factory reset will erase all of your custom settings, and you’ll
have to set it up again.
