Safety Information

  1. The LED light strip consumes DC 12V power, NEVER connect it to DC 24V.
  2. Do NOT immerse the light strip/controller/power adapter into water.
  3. Do NOT light the strip on for over 5s while it is rolled on the plastic reel.

Installation Guide

  1. Download the Meross app.

  2. Connect the power cable and power the device up.

  3. Set up the device.
    l. Connect your smartphone or tablet to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
    2. Make sure your smart device is covered by strong Wi-Fi signal.
    3. The smart device supports iOS 13/ iPadOS 13 and later. It is recommended that you upgrade your iOS or iPadOS to the latest version before pairing with the smart device.
    4. Launch the Meross app and log in to your account, or if you are a new user, tap Sign up to create a new account.
    5. Tap the”+” icon to select the type of smart device you want to add, then you can just follow the setup wizard to finish configuration.
    6. Relocation of the smart device does not require additional operations provided that it remains on the same network with strong Wi-Fi signal.
    NOTE:
    l. If this is not the first time you’ve added this smart device, you’ll have to reset it before going ony further.
    2. As long as you finish configuration. you”II be able to manage the device in Apple Homeapp.
    3. If the QR code does not work. please try to add the smart device in Apple Home opp.

  4. Use the provided clips or the tape on the light strip to hang or attach the device to the place you desire.

    Note: Please be coreful not to tear off the adhesive tape.

Note: Please moke sure the surface is smooth, dry, cleon. DO NOT stick the LED strip on such surfaces as knitted/wool fabrics, dust wall, rough plastic suface, frosted glass.
Tips: How to make a 90 degree turn with the smart LED light strip?

LED and Button Rules

  1. LED light strip: Flash 3 times to enter into configuration mode. Flash smoothly from Red to Green to Blue to Warm to Cold White: Successfully connected.
  2. Power: Short press to turn light strip ON/OFF. Long press 5s to factory reset the light strip.

Device Name: Change device name.
User Manual: Check user manual.

  1. Voice Control

Amazon Alexa:
The example commands are as follows:

-“Alexa, set the smart light strip to red.”
-“Alexa, set the smart light strip warmer.”
-“Alexa, dim smart light strip by 30%.”

Google Assistant:
The example commands are as follows:
-“Hey Google, brighten smart light strip.”
-“Hey Google, set the smart light strip to cool light.”
-“Hey Google, change the smart light strip to magenta.”

Home Kit Siri:
The example commands are as follows:
-“Hey Siri, turn on the smart light strip.”
-“Hey Siri, turn off the smart light strip.”
-“Hey Siri. is the smart light strip on?”

FAQ

  1. Can I cut and splice the light strip?
    Yes, the light strip is cut-able. Please use the provided connector to splice the 2 light strips, as the output of the provided power adapter is only 12V/1.5A, it can support powering up light strip of 16.4ft long or less.

  2. How do I reset my Smart Wi-Fi LED Light Strip?
    Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds, it will reset and enter Wi-Fi configuration mode. Note that factory reset will erase all your custom settings, and you’ll have to set it up again.

  3. What if I can’t control the smart device with the Meross app?
    You can troubleshoot the following:
    – Check if your home Wi-Fi is working properly.
    – Make sure that you have disabled access control in your router and that the smart device is not blocked by the router’s firmware.
    – Factory reset yaur smart device and try to add it again.
