Term of warranty

TARAMPS, located on Abilo Dagupan Street 274, Res. Manuel Martins – Alfredo Macondo’s, SP – Brazil, ZIP CODE 19180-000, guarantees this product against any defects on terms of project, making, assembling, and/or with solidarity, due to project vices which cause it improper or inadequate to its original use within 12 months from the date of purchase. In case of defect during the warranty period, TARAMPS responsibility is limited to the repairing or substitution of  the device of its own making.
This warranty excludes:

• Damaged products by improper installation, water infiltration, violation by unauthorized individuals;
• Tamper or torn warranty seal;
• Cases in which the product is not used in adequate conditions;
• Defects caused by accessories, modifications or features attached to the product;
• The product with damage from falling, bumps or nature related problems (flooding, lightning, etc.);
• Warranty card is not properly filled or torn;
• Costs involving uninstallation, reinstallation of equipment as well as shipment to the factory;
• Damage of any kind, due to problems in the product, as well as losses caused by discontinued use of the product.

This manual covers all features, operations and instructions to solve any doubt that may arise during the installation. Please take some time to read it carefully in order to ensure the proper installation and the use of all benefits that this product can offer.

Safety requirements

• To ensure proper use, please read through this manual before using the amplifier. It is specially important that you know the CAUTIONS contained here.
• The installation of this amplifier must be done by a qualified professional.
• This amplifier must be installed in a firm place with at least 1” space around the heatsink for proper heat spreading.
• Never install the amplifier in places exposed to dust, humidity, water or heat sources.
• Do not open. This product is not user serviceable.
• Don’t block and not insert objects into the amplifier’s ventilation openings.
• Avoid to drop this amplifier, risk of damage.
• When in use, the top surface of the amplifier becomes hot. Avoid contact and keep the amplifier out of the reach of children.
• Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
• This amplifier can produce high sound pressure levels. Avoid continuous exposure to levels above 85dB to prevent hearing damage.
• Speaker output connections may have voltage levels when the amplifier is operating. Make sure the amplifier is OFF before proceeding with any connections or disconnections at these terminals.
• If you want to dispose of this amplifier, please do not throw it in household waste. It must be collected by a used electronics disposal service for proper recycling.

Front panel

1. 19″ RACK MOUNT HOLE: Use these holes to fix the T 2400 on the rack.
2. CLIP LED: Indicates that the amplifier is operating at the distortion threshold of channel A.
3. SIGNAL LED: Signal presence indicator for channel A.
4. VOLUME: Volume adjustment for channel A.
5. VOLUME: Volume adjustment for channel B.
6. SIGNAL LED: Signal presence indicator for channel B.
7. CLIP LED: Indicates that the amplifier is operating at the distortion threshold of channel B.
8. ON / OFF SWITCH: Turns amplifier power on and off.

Rear panel

1. AC POWER INPUT: Connect the cable to the AC mains. This product operates with 120V AC or 240V AC (automatic dual voltage).
2. OUT B: Channel B power output for speakers. Follow the indicated polarity and the recommended minimum impedance (4 Ohms).
3. OUT A : Channel A power output for speakers. Follow the indicated polarity and the recommended minimum impedance (4 Ohms).
4. INPUT : Audio inputs (unbalanced) 1/4″ or RCA input.

Connection example

1/4″ or RCA signal inputs: To connect audio mixer, equalizer, audio processor, receiver, etc…

CAUTION
Due to the presence of voltage at the output terminals when the product is on, avoid contact with them. Risk of electric shock.
Connect signals with amplifier volumes at minimum.
Connect the output cables only with the product off.
Connection to the AC mains
The wall power outlet must withstand the amplifier’s maximum current draw.
