Miele Pre-inspection Service
To ensure that the installation of your Miele appliances proceeds efficiently and without costly delays, we offer the Miele Pre-Inspection Service. Our Miele Certified Installation team will visit your home and guide you through a comprehensive inspection to ensure that all electrical, venting, plumbing, millwork, etc. is in place correctly as required by the Miele installation manuals. The Miele Certified Pre-Inspection Team will help you identify any additional work or corrections that need to be completed prior to the actual installation appointment. This will ensure that when our Miele Certified Installation team arrives on the day of installation, we are able to begin work right away without any delays.
Miele Pre-inspection includes:
- On-site visit to inspect and advise on all utilities, and rough in requirements per work order/purchase order.
- Ensuring that the rough-in will work with the design of the appliance both mechanically and service/install accessibility.
As an additional bonus for our customers, any Miele cooking package that
includes five or more kitchen appliances* is eligible for a complimentary
Miele Pre-Inspection Service where applicable.

Please note:
- Multi-piece discount may apply (4 pieces receive 10% discount, 5 or more pieces receive 15% discount on installation).
- Prices are based on utilities (electrical, venting, millwork, countertops, cabinetry, flooring, supporting structures, etc.) roughed-in and ready. Gas and Electrical must meet all local codes.
- All prices are firmed up on-site. If a permit is required for the installation of electric cooktops, wall ovens, speed ovens or steam ovens, the cost is $400. Gas hookup tagging is priced at $250.
- Please note, if an external blower is being installed, Miele requires certified scaffolding to be in place for any installations over 10 feet tall. Miele does not provide scaffolding services. Please ensure the site has or will have scaffolding in place prior to scheduling installation services.
- An initial installation visit is included in the price. If a second visit is required, the cost will be $150; a third visit will be $250, and any additional visits will be $350 each. If the site is not ready upon the installer’s visit, a $200 fee will be applied.
