Setting the Temperature Control

  1.  Push the buttons to set the temperature. When you press the two buttons for the first time, the LED readout will show the original temperature set at factory settings (the temperature preset at the factory is 5°C ( 41°F)).
  2. The temperature will increase 1°F or 1°C if you press the button once. The temperature will decrease 1°F or 1°C if you press the button once.
  3. Each cooling compartment of the wine cooler is independently controlled. In the event of a power interruption, all previous temperature settings are automatically saved and each compartment will keep the previous temperature setting.

Celsius & Fahrenheit Degree Switch

  1. To switch the temperature display from Celsius to Fahrenheit or vice versa, press the button.

Interior Light

  1. To turn the internal LED lighting on or off, press the button.

Temperature Display

NOTE:

  • If the unit is unplugged, loses power, or is turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the unit. If you do not wait 3 to 5 minutes, the wine cooler will not start.
  • When you use the wine cooler for the first time or restart the wine cooler after having been shut off for a long time, there could be a few degrees variance between the temperature you select and the one indicated on the LED readout. This is normal and it is due to the length of the activation time. Once the wine cooler is running for a few hours everything will be back to normal.

Door Lock
This unit has the option to have a lock and key combination.

  1. If you use the lock, the keys are located inside the plastic bag that contains the User’s Manual.
  2. To unlock the door, insert the key into the lock, and turn it counterclockwise.
  3. To lock the door, insert the key into the lock and turn it clockwise, making sure the metal pin is completely engaged.
  4. Remove the key and place it in a secure place for safekeeping.

Defrost System
Refrigerator coils are kept below the freezing point (32 degrees Fahrenheit). During compressor down-time, the evaporator fan continues to circulate air through the evaporator coil. This air circulation raises the coil temperature above the freezing point, melting any accumulated frost. Run-off water is drained into the evaporator pan and evaporated.

Operation/Maintenance

NOTE: We strongly recommend that any servicing be performed by an authorized service technician.
Loading Product

  • Do not block the air duct/fan at the top of the unit. Maintain a minimum of 4″ of clearance between products and the fan at all times.
  • Ensure all shelves are sitting level and properly secured before loading products.
  • Do not store flammable and explosive gas or liquids inside the unit.

Cleaning the Condensor Coil

  • For efficient operation, keep the condenser surface free of dust, dirt, and lint.
  • We recommend cleaning the condenser coil at least once per month.
  • Clean the condenser with a commercial condenser coil cleaner, available from any kitchen equipment retailer.

Cleaning the Fan Blades and Motor

  • If necessary, clean the fan blades and motor with a soft cloth.
  • If it is necessary to wash the fan blades, cover the fan motor to prevent moisture damage.

Cleaning the Interior of Unit

  • When cleaning the cabinet interior, use a solvent of warm water and mild soap.
  • Do not use steel wool, caustic soap, abrasive cleaners, or bleach that may damage the interior finish.
  • Wash door gaskets on a regular basis, preferably weekly. Simply remove the door gasket from the frame of the door, soak it in warm water and soap for thirty (30) minutes, then dry with soft cloth and replace it.
  • Check door gaskets for proper seal after they are replaced.
  • Periodically remove the shelves and shelf brackets from the unit, and clean them with mild soap and warm water.

Your wine cooler was designed to store a maximum number of bottles in total security. We recommend that you observe the tips below to optimize loading.

  • Spread your bottles out as evenly as possible over the shelves, so that weight is not concentrated in one point, also make sure your bottles do not touch the back of the cabinet or the step at the bottom.
  • Also, make sure that bottles are not all grouped together at the top or bottom of the cabinet.
  • Lay the bottles one row face forward and staggered another row face back could maximum increase the capacity. It would only affect when having larger bottles, like Pinot or Champagne.
  • Never try to pull out more than one sliding shelf at a time.
