Product Usage Instructions

  1. Setting The Time:

  2. Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.

  3. Turn the crown to set the Hour and Minute Hands.

  4. Push the crown back to the Normal position to start the Small Second Hand.

  5. Setting The Date:

  6. Pull the crown out to the 1st position.

  7. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.

  8. To ensure the date changes to the following day, set the date between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

  9. Push the crown back to the Normal position after setting the date.

  10. Using The Chronograph Function:
    This chronograph measures and displays time in 1/20 second units up to a maximum of 59 minutes 59 seconds.

  11. Press Button A to start and stop the chronograph.

  12. Press Button B to reset the chronograph. The Chronograph 1/20 Second Hand, Chronograph Second Hand, and Chronograph Minute Hand will return to the zero position.

  13. Using The Tachymeter:
    Tachymeters keep track of speed in units per time increment (most commonly miles per hour) or the average rate of any other repeating event.

  14. Press Button A to begin the chronograph.

  15. Once your object has traveled 1 mile, press Button B to stop the chronograph.

  16. The number indicated by the Chronograph SSecond-Hand shows the speed of the object.

  17. Using The Telemeter:
    Telemeters keep track of the distance between the user and events that are both seen and heard (most commonly used to track distance from thunderstorms).

  18. When the event (lightning) is seen, press Button A to begin the chronograph.

  19. When the event is heard (thunder), press Button B to stop the chronograph.

  20. The number indicated by the Chronograph Second-Hand shows the distance in miles.

  21. Chronograph Reset:
    This procedure should be performed when the Chronograph Second-Hand does not return to the zero position after resetting the chronograph, or after replacing the battery.

  22. Pull the crown to the 2nd position.

  23. Press Button A to set the Chronograph Second Hand to the zero position.

  24. Press Button B to set the Chronograph 1/20 Second Hand to the zero position.

  25. Once the hands have been zeroed, return the crown to the Normal position.

Note : Do not push the crown to the Normal position while the Chronograph Second Hand is returning to the zero position. It stops on the way when the crown is returned to the Normal position, and its position is recognized as zero.

Setting  The Time

  1. Pull the crown out to the 2nd position.
  2. Turn the crown to set Hour and Minute Hands.
  3. When the crown is pushed back to the Normal position, the Small Second Hand begins to run.

Setting The Date

  1. Pull the crown out to 1st position.
  2. Turn the crown clockwise to set the date.
    • Set the date between the hours of 2:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to ensure the date changes to the following day.
  3. After the date has been set, push the crown back to the Normal position.

Using The Chronograph Function

This chronograph will measure and display time in 1/20 second units up to a maximum of 59 minutes 59 seconds. The chronograph 1/20 second-hand keeps continuously for 30 seconds after starting, then resets to the zero position.

Measuring time with a Chronograph:

  1. The chronograph can be started and stopped each time Button A is pressed.
  2. Pressing Button B resets the chronograph and the Chronograph 1/20 Second Hand, Chronograph Second Hand, and Chronograph Minute Hand return to zero position.

Chronograph Reset

This Procedure should be performed when the Chronograph Second-Hand does not return to zero position after the chronograph has been reset, including after the battery has been replaced.

  1. Pull the crown to the 2nd Position.
  2. Press Button A to set the Chronograph Second Hand to the zero position. The chronograph hand can be advanced rapidly by continuously pressing Button A.
  3. Press Button B to set the Chronograph 1/20 Second Hand to the zero position. The chronograph hand can be advanced rapidly by continuously pressing Button B.
  4. Once the hands have been zeroed, return the crown to Normal Position.
    • Do not push the crown to Normal Position while the Chronograph Second-Hand returns to zero position. It stops on the way when the crown is returned to Normal Position and its position is recognized as zero position.
