Armed with an undeniable flair for business, a desire for improvement and a marked desire for innovation, John Chabot founds Chalair Électrik, the company that will later become Stelpro, in Drummondville in 1981. From its early years, the company made its mark in the heating industry by developing and
launching innovative products, like the first open element construction heater and the smallest and quietest recessable residential fan heater. The unit in question, the Pulsair/ RWF, is still on the market, proving that the company was already at the forefront of its
field at this time.

The 1990s are a time of growth and change. First, the company moves to Boucherville, then in 1994, it acquires its competitor,
Stelpro Chauffage ltée, thereby opening the doors to the Canadian market. By the end of the decade, Yves Chabot and his brother, a second generation of entrepreneurs, have joined the company. On the commercial level, the company breaks new ground again with the launch of the Dragon ceiling fan heater.

The beginning of the millennium marks a wind of change as the company continues to expand. A new head office and a stateof-the-art plant are built in St-Bruno-deMontarville, and Chalair Électrik and Stelpro Chauffage merge to become Stelpro Design Inc. With an improved integrated production capacity that makes it the Canadian leader in its category, the new entity launches another phase of development by launching its heating cable division, always with a view to serving its customers well.

ECM MOTOR ELECTRONICALLY COMMUTATED MOTOR
COMFORT, EFFICIENCY, RELIABILITY AND SECURITY ARE AT THE HEART OF THE ECM

COMFORT

Comfort level can be increased if a variable speed motor is installed. This level cannot be reached with any other method. It also allows the user to select the low speed with the desired airflow in recirculation.

EFFICIENCY

Since it combines electronic circuits and a BLDC motor, it is the most efficient motor on the HVAC market. It can reach up to twice the capacity of a PSC motor.

RELIABILITY All its electronic circuits are protected against condensation. Thanks to its design and materials, such as silicone elastomer, it is one of the most reliable motors on the market.

SECURITY

Its electronic system is protected by MOVs (metal oxide varistors) against lightning overvoltages.

MERCHANDISE RETURNS
Authorization requests for merchandise can be submitted via our new website at www.stelpro/rma or by email. To request a return via our website, please fill out the web form. For email requests, send your request to rma@stelpro.com including the order number and the reason for the return. In either case a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) will be sent to you. The authorization number must be indicated clearly on all packages of returned merchandise. Merchandise must be packaged properly so that it is returned to us in excellent condition. The sender is responsible for all shipping costs.
Charges apply on all returns. A product cannot be returned if it meets one or more of the following criteria: special colour, custom product, assembly with low-demand options, etc.

WARRANTY POLICY
STELPRO WARRANTS ITS PRODUCTS AGAINST DEFECTS IN MATERIAL AND WORKMANSHIP FOR A MINIMUM PERIOD OF ONE YEAR FOLLOWING THE DATE OF PURCHASE. This warranty does not apply to damages resulting from misuse, abuse, improper installation, field alteration or accidents of any kind. Stelpro will not guarantee nor be held responsible for damages resulting from products that have been modified. Stelpro’s responsibility is limited to the repair and/or replacement of parts deemed to be defective. Additional installation and/or transportation costs are not covered under the terms of this warranty. For individual extended warranties, please refer to the product’s page.
