Before you begin

Set up your refrigerator
Clean the inside of your appliance before using it. See CARE & CLEANING in your Use & Care Manual. To ensure safe food storage, allow the appliance to operate with the door closed for at least 8 hours before loading it with food. -
Review the contents of your literature packet
Your literature pack contains several items including the Use & Care Manual, a PureAdvantage ® Air Filter, and a Produce Keeper™ filter. See FILTER REPLACEMENT in your Use & Care Manual for information on how to install your water, air, and Produce Keeper™ filters. -
Before starting your refrigerator
Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Choose a place that is near a grounded electrical outlet, allowing clearances for ease of installation, proper circulation, and plumbing and electrical connections.
Care and cleaning
- Clean your refrigerator with nonabrasive soapy water and a dishcloth. Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth.
- Keep fresh air and clean water flowing by changing your filters every 6 months.
We Recommend:
Immediately wipe up spills and deep clean your refrigerator at least twice per
year.

Why does my refrigerator seem to run continuously?
Your refrigerator is equipped with an energy-efficient variable speed compressor that saves energy. -
The temperature is warmer or colder than preferred.
What can I do?
Simply adjust the temperature by 1 or 2 degrees and allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Check to ensure food items are not blocking the airports as this will impact temperature performance. Food placed within 1 inch in front of the airports may freeze. See CONTROLS AND SETTINGS in your Use & care manual.

Manage Your Display
TEMP SETTINGS
Select the Freezer or Refrigerator icon to change the temperature. Press the
+/- buttons to set the temperature.
Freezer control range: -6˚F/-21˚C +6˚F/-15˚C
Refrigerator +34˚F/+1˚C
control range: +44˚F/+7˚C
CLEAR ALERTS
Resets any alarms that are active and illuminated on the display.
FREEZE BOOST
Prior to grocery shopping, we recommend you activate FREEZE BOOST to lower the
temperature and freeze food faster.
FREEZE BOOST
remains active for up to 24 hours before automatically deactivating or
manually exiting by pressing FREEZE BOOST to turn the function off. The
freezer will reset to the previous temperature setting.
TEMP F-C
Touch to toggle display from Fahrenheit to Celsius.
ICE MAKER
Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the ice maker on/off. The ice maker is ON
when the indicator is lit and OFF when the indicator is not lit. The ice maker
will stop making ice when in the OFF state. Ice dispensing can continue as
long as there is ice in the bucket. The indicator blinks when the ice maker is
off and dispensing ice.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
Press and hold for 3 seconds to reset to Factory settings.
WATER FILTER
Press and hold the button to reset after the filter has been replaced, the
status shown on the right of the button will reset to GOOD.
AIR FILTER
Press and hold to reset after the filter has been replaced, the status shown
on the right of the button will reset to GOOD.
Adjustable Temp Drawer
Customize your storage space for all your entertaining favorites — from cheese
to wine to sorbet. Set from -6 to 45 degrees. (See Use & Care Manual).
Press and hold the UNLOCK icon for 3 seconds to lock or unlock the drawer.
Select Ice & Water
Use this control panel to make your ice and water dispensing selections.
REPLACE WATER FILTER
Indicates it is time to replace water filter when illuminated, generally,
every 6 months.
REPLACE AIR FILTER
When illuminated, indicates it is time to replace the air filter. Generally,
every 6 months.
DOOR OPEN
Alert indicates the door has been open for 5 or more minutes. The audible
alert can be turned off by pressing DOOR OPEN or closing the door. The
interior light turns off if the door is open for 5 minutes.
HIGH TEMP ALARM
An alarm sounds in the event of a high-temperature condition and continues
every 10 seconds until acknowledged. Touch any key or open a door to silence
the alarm.
POWER OUTAGE
In the event of a power outage, a tone sounds once power is restored. Press
any button to silence the tone.
LOCK
Press and hold both the CUBE & CRUSH keys for 3 seconds to the LOCK/UNLOCK
control panel. No water or ice can be dispensed when the control panel is
locked.
WATER
Press the WATER key to dispense water. The indicator light illuminates above
the active feature.
CUBE
Press the CUBE key to dispense cubed ice. The indicator light illuminates
above the active feature.
CRUSH
Press the CRUSH key to dispense crushed ice. The indicator light illuminates
above the active feature.
LIGHT
Press the Light key to turn on the light feature.
