legrand G6010B 6000 Series Blank End Fitting
Product Information
The Steel Raceway is a large-capacity, two-piece steel surface raceway designed for dry interior location installations. It provides superior strength and extra large cross-sectional area to accommodate large wiring requirements or installations that use large-diameter cables for power and/or data/communications. The raceway features a dividable base that creates a two- compartment raceway for bringing large amounts of power and data/communications cable to one location. It also comes with a complete line of fittings for interconnection between raceway systems.
The Steel Raceway has a gray baked enamel and Ivory ScuffCoat finish, ensuring durability and scratch resistance. It can be easily overpainted for customization. The raceway can be installed as a feeder or header raceway, making it ideal for overhead, open spaces, and underfloor applications. It accommodates large-size devices, accepting single- and dual-gang devices up to 100 amps and circuit breakers up to three poles. The Steel Raceway is ADA- compliant and can be installed in conformance with ADA requirements. It is UL- listed and CSA Certified, meeting safety standards for raceways and fittings.
Product Usage Instructions
To install the Steel Raceway, follow these steps:
- Prepare the installation area by ensuring it is clean and free from obstructions.
- Measure and mark the desired location for the raceway.
- Using appropriate tools, cut the raceway base to the desired length.
- If needed, snap in the divider to create a two-compartment raceway.
- Insert the wiring or cable into the raceway compartments, organizing them as needed.
- If using devices or fittings, install them at the desired locations within the raceway.
- Cover the raceway with the pre-cut covers for standard outlet center locations, ensuring they fit securely.
- If necessary, use base and cover cutters to make clean and square cuts on the raceway.
For specific wiring requirements and fill capacities, refer to the provided tables in the user manual. Ensure that the raceway is not overloaded with wires or cables beyond the recommended limits for safety and optimal performance.
For any additional information or technical details, refer to the Technical Section of the ED1560 Product Guide.
Large Capacity, Two-Piece Steel Surface Raceway
6000® Series Raceway can be used divided for separate wiring circuits or
multi-service applications. For large cabling installations, 6000 can be used
undivided as headers and feeders or to bring wiring to a specified location.
6000 Series Raceway is ideal for all applications requiring a high cable
capacity, dual-service steel raceway. Commercial, institutional, and
industrial applications all benefit from the 6000 Series rigid steel
construction and durable Ivory ScuffCoat™ finish. 6000 Series Raceway is also
ideal for municipalities that require either all steel construction or
prohibit nonmetallic cable management systems.
6000® Series Raceway is shown as a divided system with Activate inserts and a power device with a 4050 device bracket.

proposed revision to the Commercial Building Standard for Telecommunication
Pathways & Spaces, TIA/EIA-569. Actual wire fill capacity may vary based on
applications, cable types, and number, as well as type of fittings. (Fitting
may cause additional variances to the fill capacity.)
Category 6 augmented (6a) cable for 10-gigabit ethernet – max allowed cable diameter per addenda No. 11 ANSI TIA/EIA 568-B.2.
