PARLEE R3.0 RZ7 Carbon Stem
Product Information
The RZ7 Stem is a component used in bicycle assembly. It is designed to securely attach the handlebars to the bicycle frame. The stem is made of high- strength materials to ensure stability and durability during use. The stem comes with a stem cover and necessary screws for installation.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Stem Installation
- Insert the greased steerer clamp screws into the stem and torque them to a maximum of 6Nm using a torque wrench with a 4mm hex key.
- Place the Stem Cover by aligning the cable hole pegs at the front of the cover (B1) with the cable passage holes in the stem. Squeeze the cover at the grip indication surface (B2) and push it forward until the tabs snap into place in the topsteerer spacer.
- Step 2: Bar and Stem Assembly
- Apply a thin layer of Park Tool SAC-2 Carbon Assembly compound between the handlebar and stem prior to assembly. This will provide better grip and prevent slippage.
- Start by placing the faceplate over the tapered portion of the handlebar, moving it inwards and laterally until it is centered on the bar.
- Install the handlebar and faceplate at an upward angle until the locking feature at the top of the faceplate nests with the groove in the stem face.
- Step 3: Screw Tightening
- Install the supplied high-strength screws finger-tight with an M4 hex key.
- Using the M4 hex key, tighten the screws to 3 or 4Nm, alternating between them to ensure even loading.
- Use a torque wrench to tighten the screws to 6Nm, alternating between the left and right sides.
- Repeat the process to reach 8Nm, ensuring that the screws are evenly torqued.
Please note that these instructions are a general guide. For specific installation and usage details, always refer to the official user manual provided with the product.
