Do not use this apparatus near water.

Connection
Connecting the Microphone(s)
Microphones:
Connect a microphone into Mic jack 1 as well as Mic jack 2 (when desired).
NOTE: Do not drop or tap the Mic as damage to the Mic or speakers may occur. Do not twirl the microphone cord as it will v cause damage to the encased wiring.
Connecting to AC Power
Insert the AC power cord into a conveniently located AC outlet having 120V AC, 60Hz.
NOTE:
Make all connections before connecting to AC power.
Energy Saving (Auto Power System – APS)
If there is no audio playback, the unit will automatically enter standby mode
after 20 minutes. To resume use of the unit press the /LIGHTS button.
APS is for energy saving purposes.
Connection
Lights Mode
When the unit is turned on, the Light mode 1 is automatically activated. The lights will light up and will synchronize with sound when you speak or sing\ into the microphone.
Press the /LIGHTS button for Light mode 2 which will display the light show but will not respond to the microphone.
Press the /LIGHTS button for a third time to turn off the Lights.
Connecting to AUX In Jack
Connect an external device by using an appropriate cable (3.5mm audio cable not included) as shown.
NOTE:
See page E13 to select and use the Line In function.
Bluetooth Mode
Press the button to easily set the machine into bluetooth mode.
NOTE: See page E10 for Bluetooth operation instructions.
Connection
Cradle
- Slide out the cradle.
- Slide the cradle stand and insert it into the groove on the back of the cradle. Insert into different slots to adjust the angle.
- Make sure the cradle stand is inserted into the slot on the back of the cradle, then place your device in the cradle.
Operation
Playing songs from USB drive

Connect the unit as described previously. Press the /LIGHTS button to turn the unit on.

Insert a USB flash drive into the USB port on the unit. Make sure to download music from the Karaoke store.
-
Repeatedly press the FUNC button to select the USB mode; “USb” will appear when searching the drive and then the total number of files will appear.
NOTE: The USB mode cannot be accessed until a USB drive with songs is inserted.

Press the MASTER VOLUME/ / STOP control to start playback; if listening to an MP3 file. During playback, if you wish to pause the music momentarily, press the MASTER VOLUME/ /STOP control. Press again to resume normal playback. Press and hold the MASTER VOLUME/ /STOP control to stop playback.

Turn the MASTER VOLUME/ / STOP control to adjust the volume to a comfortable level.

Connect microphone(s) and slide the ON/OFF switch on the microphone to the ON position.

Rotate the MIC VOLUME/ VOICE EFFECTS control as desired. Increasing this will increase the volume of both microphones.

Toggle the MIC VOLUME/VOICE EFFECTS control to select a voice effect.

SKIP: Advance or go back one track by pressing the or button.
-
Press and hold the /LIGHTS button to turn the unit off.
Operation
Using a Bluetooth Device
-
Connect the unit as described previously. Press the /LIGHTS button to turn the unit on.
-
Press the or repeatedly press the FUNC button to select the Bluetooth; “bt” will appear in the display. The unit automatically searches for and pairs a previously paired Bluetooth device (if previously paired). If no previously paired devices are present, connect as shown in the next step.
NOTE: You can also press the button to disconnect any paired devices in order to pair another device. -
Turn on your device’s Bluetooth option in settings to search for a discoverable device with a Bluetooth signal. Select “SINGING MACHINE” from the device results on the Bluetooth menu.
NOTE: Also refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth device for detailed instructions. -
“bt” will light solid in the display and a successful pairing sound will be heard.
NOTES:- If your Bluetooth prompts you for a passcode during the pairing process, please enter “0000” to connect.
- On some Bluetooth devices, once pairing is complete, select your Bluetooth device as “Use as Audio Device” or similar.
- If connection is lost after successful pairing, check to make sure the distance between speaker and Bluetooth-enabled device does not exceed 30 feet/10 meters.

To control your Bluetooth device from this unit, press the MASTER VOLUME/ /STOP control to start playback (music app must be open). Press the MASTER VOLUME/ /STOP during playback to pause the song.

Turn the MASTER VOLUME/ / STOP control to adjust the volume to a comfortable level, as well as the volume on your Bluetooth device.
-
Connect microphone(s) and slide the ON/OFF switch on the microphone to the ON position.

Turn the MIC VOLUME/VOICE EFFECTS control as desired. Increasing this will increase the volume of both microphones.

Toggle the MIC VOLUME/VOICE EFFECTS control to select a voice effect.

Advance or go back one track by pressing the or button.

Using a Bluetooth Device (Continued)

To sing without the lead singer on the recording, press the VOCALS OFF button; vocals off indicator will turn on. To resume the lead singer, press again.
NOTE: Lead vocal removal might work better on some songs than others. -
RECORD YOUR VOC AL PERFORMANCE:
To record your singing as well as the music, press the RECORD button. Recording will begin and the record indicator will light solid. When done recording, press the RECORD button again; the record indicator will turn off.
NOTES:- A USB drive (not included) must be inserted into USB slot to record.
- The recorded audio file will record onto the USB drive.

To playback your voice recording, you can press the REC PLAYBACK button; “Pb” will appear in the display and the rec playback indicator will turn on. Press again to stop.

Press and hold the /LIGHTS button to turn the unit off.
Operation
Using the AUX IN Jack

Connect the unit as described previously. Press the
-
/LIGHTS button to turn the unit on. Connect the external unit to the AUX IN Jack on the rear of this unit. Connecting an external unit will allow the audio to be played through your Singing Machine. Repeatedly press the FUNC button to select the Aux In mode; “AU” will appear in display.
NOTES:- It is highly recommended to set the volume on the auxiliary unit to 1/3 or lower to avoid distortion.
- Skipping files/tracks is not possible on this unit when using an external device.

Adjust the volume using the MASTER VOLUME/ /STOP control on this unit or the volume control on your external device.

Connect microphone(s) and slide the ON/OFF switch on the microphone to the ON position.

Turn the MIC VOLUME/VOICE EFFECTS control as desired. Increasing this will increase the volume of both microphones.

Toggle the MIC VOLUME/VOICE EFFECTS control to select a voice effect.
NOTE: You cannot record voice effects in Aux-in mode. -
RECORD YOUR VOC AL PERFORMANCE:
To record your singing as well as the music, press the RECORD button. Recording will begin and the record indicator will light solid. When done recording, press the RECORD button again; the record indicator will turn off.
NOTES:- A USB drive (not included) must be inserted into USB slot to record.
- The recorded audio file will record onto the USB drive.
- See section “Playing Songs from the USB” to play back your recorded files.

Troubleshooting Guide
Should this unit exhibit a problem, check the following before seeking service:
No Power
- Power is not on; press the /LIGHTS button to turn power on.
- Confirm that the AC adapter is connected securely to the back of the unit.
- Connect the unit to a different outlet.
- The normal function of the product may be disturbed by strong Electro-Magnetic Interference. If so, simply restart the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In case the function could not resume, please use the product in other location.
No Sound – General
- Master Volume is set to minimum; raise volume.
- Correct Function was not selected; select using the FUNC button.
- If using an external device, raise the volume.
File(s) on USB jack not playing
- The file is corrupted; replace the file.
- The file is not in a format this unit will play.
- The connected USB device is not supported by the product.
No sound from the microphone
- Make sure the microphone is firmly connected to the MIC 1 or MIC 2 jack.
- Make sure the ON/OFF switch on the microphone is set to the ON position.
- Make sure the MIC VOLUME/VOICE EFFECTS setting is not set too low.
- MASTER VOLUME is set to minimum; raise volume.
The Bluetooth device cannot be paired or connected with the unit
- You have not activated the Bluetooth function of your device; see page E10 or refer to the Bluetooth device user’s manual.
- The system is not in pairing mode; press the button to restart pairing.
The Music is not available on the unit after successfully connecting the Bluetooth
- Ensure your Bluetooth device can support the A2DP Bluetooth profile.
- The volume on the external Bluetooth device is set to low or muted; raise as desired.
