Product Information
The PD632BP Bodypack is a product manufactured by Power Dynamics. It is a portable bodypack device designed for specific purposes. Please read the following instructions carefully before using the product to ensure safe and proper usage.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Before using the unit, please ask for advice from a specialist.
- Step 2: When the unit is switched on for the first time, some smell may occur. This is normal and will disappear after a while.
- Step 3: The unit contains voltage-carrying parts. Therefore, do NOT open the housing.
- Step 4: Do not place metal objects or pour liquids into the unit as this may cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- Step 5: Avoid placing the unit near heat sources such as radiators and on vibrating surfaces. Do not cover the ventilation holes.
- Step 6: The unit is not suitable for continuous use.
- Step 7: Be careful with the mains lead and do not damage it. A faulty or damaged mains lead can cause electrical shock and malfunction.
- Step 8: When unplugging the unit from a mains outlet, always pull the plug, never the lead.
- Step 9: Do not plug or unplug the unit with wet hands.
- Step 10: If the plug and/or the mains lead are damaged, they need to be replaced by a qualified technician.
- Step 11: If the unit is damaged to such an extent that internal parts are visible, do NOT plug the unit into a mains outlet and DO NOT switch the unit on. Contact your dealer.
- Step 12: Do NOT connect the unit to a rheostat or dimmer.
- Step 13: To avoid fire and shock hazards, do not expose the unit to rain and moisture.
- Step 14: All repairs should be carried out by a qualified technician only.
- Step 15: Connect the unit to an earthed mains outlet (220-240Vac/50Hz) protected by a 10-16A fuse.
- Step 16: During a thunderstorm or if the unit will not be used for a longer period of time, unplug it from the mains.
- Step 17: If the unit has not been used for a longer period of time, let it reach room temperature before switching it on. Never use the unit in humid rooms or outdoors.
- Step 18: To prevent accidents in companies, follow the applicable guidelines and instructions.
- Step 19: Do not repeatedly switch the fixture on and off as it shortens the lifetime.
- Step 20: Keep the unit out of the reach of children and do not leave it unattended.
- Step 21: Do not use cleaning sprays to clean switches. In case of malfunction, always seek advice from a specialist.
- Step 22: This unit contains a speaker that can cause a magnetic field. Keep it at least 60cm away from computers or TVs.
- Step 23: If this product has a built-in lead-acid rechargeable battery, recharge the battery every 3 months if you are not going to use the product for a long period of time to avoid permanent damage.
- Step 24: If the battery is damaged, please replace it with the same type.

Read the manual prior to using the unit. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical shock. Keep the manual for future reference.

- If this product has a built-in lead-acid rechargeable battery. Please recharge the battery every 3 months if you are not going to use the product for a long period of time. Otherwise, the battery may be permanently damaged.
- If the battery is damaged please replace it with the same specifications battery. And dispose the damaged battery environment friendly.
- If the unit has fallen, always have it checked by a qualified technician before you switch the unit on again.
- Do not use chemicals to clean the unit. They damage the varnish. Only clean the unit with a dry cloth.
- Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.
- Only use original spares for repairs, otherwise, serious damage and/or dangerous radiation may occur.
- Switch the unit off prior to unplugging it from the mains and/or other equipment. Unplug all leads and cables prior to moving the unit.
- Make sure that the main lead cannot be damaged when people walk on it. Check the mains lead before every use for damages and faults!
- The mains voltage is 220-240Vac/50Hz. Check if the power outlet matches. If you travel, make sure that the mains voltage of the country is suitable for this unit.
- Keep the original packing material so that you can transport the unit in safe conditions.

UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION!
Immediately upon receiving the product, carefully unpack the carton, and check
the contents to ensure that all parts are present, and have been received in
good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain the packing material
for inspection if any parts appear damaged from shipping or the package itself
shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packing materials. In the
event that the product must be returned to the factory, it is important that
the product be returned in the original factory box and packing.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The rising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.

OPERATION
- Switch on the receiver with the power switch.
- Open the battery cover of the bodypack and put the new or fully charged battery inside. Press the power switch on the bodypack for 2 seconds, to switch on.
- Select your transmission channel, with the ▲ and ▼ button on the receiver. Hold the IR sensor of the bodypack close to the IR sensor of the receiver. Press shortly on the SET button of the respective channel to synchronize the bodypack.
- When the receiver and the bodypack have been set to the same transmission channel, the RF bar graph on the receiver’s display will indicate that a radio signal is being received. Noted: how more numbers of bars are displayed, how better is the reception?
- Close the battery cover onto the bodypack again.
For optimum receiving:
- Reposition the receiver so there is nothing obstructing a line of sight to the microphones (including the audience).
- Avoid placing the microphone and receiver where metal or other dense materials may be present.
- Place the receiver on the top of the equipment rack.
- Remove nearby sources of wireless interference, such as cell phones, two-way radios, computers, media players, Wi-Fi devices, and digital signal processors.
- Charge or replace the microphone battery.
- Keep microphones more than two meters (6 feet) from each other.
- Keep the microphones and receiver more than 5 meters (16 feet) apart.
- During sound check, mark trouble spots and ask presenters or performers to avoid that area.
HEADSET MICROPHONE
- Connect the connecter of the supplied headset microphone to the connecting jack of the bodypack.
- Position the headset microphone approx. 15 mm (1/2 inch) from the opening of your mouth.
