INSTALL ATION DIAGRAM

SAFETY REMINDERS

  • Make sure that the wattage and output of your PSU are enough to power your system’s requirements

  • If this power supply uses modular cables, use only the cables included with the product. Other cables might not be compatible and cause serious damage to your system and power supply.

  • Disconnect the power cord and clean only with a dry cloth, do not use liquid cleaning agents
    Do NOT operate in wet or damp conditions, this product is designed for indoor use only.

  • Do NOT open the PSU casing, the unit operates with hazardous voltages,

  • Do NOT modify the cables or connectors included in this power supply

  • Do NOT remove the warranty sticker. Damage or removal of the sticker will void your warranty

  • At the end of the product life please dispose this product at your local waste collection/recycling centre

INSTALLING YOUR POWER SUPPLY

Step A: Removing your old power supply
If you are building a new system, skip to Step B.

  1. A Disconnect the AC power cord from your wall outlet and from the existing power supply.
  2. .A Disconnect all the power cables from your video card, motherboard and all other peripherals.
  3. .A Follow the directions in your chassis manual and uninstall your existing power supply.
  4. .A Proceed to Step B.

Step B: Installing your new power supply (Check the installation diagram)

  1. .B Make sure the power supply’s AC power cable is not connected.

  2. Follow the directions in your chassis manual and install the power supply with the screws provided.

  3. .B Connect the 24-pin connector to the motherboard socket.

  4. Connect the 8-pin (4+4pin) +12V (EPS12V) cable to the motherboard.

  5. If your motherboard has an 8-pin +12V socket, connect the 8-pin cable directly to your motherboard.
    If your motherboard has a 4-pin socket, detach the 4-pin from the 8-pin (4+4) cable, and then plug this 4-pin cable directly to your motherboard.

  6. B Connect the peripheral cables, PCI-e cables (if included), and SATA cables.

  7. 1B Connect the peripherals cables to your hard drive and CD-ROM/DVD-ROM power sockets.

  8. 2B Connect the SATA cables to your SATA SSD or hard drive’s power sockets.

  9. .3B Connect the PCI-e cables to the power sockets of your PCI-e video cards if required.

  10. .4B Connect the peripheral cables to any peripherals requiring a small MOLEX 4-pin connector.

  11. .5B Make sure all the cables are tightly connected. If the power supply has modular cables, be sure to save any unused modular cables for future component additions.

  12. . Connect the AC power cord to the power supply and turn it on by pushing the switch to the ON position (marked with “I”).

TROUBLESHOOTING

The system does not power ON:
Check if the ON/OFF switch of the case is connected to the motherboard. Go to the motherboard manual if necessary. Activate the power supply by moving the power switch to the “T position and then press the ON/OFF switch on the case. If the power supply doesn’t power ON proceed to the next step.
Check your system for possible short circuits or faulty hardware, making sure that you switched off the computer and disconnect all devices not required for the computer to start then switch the computer back on, Repeat this process and connect one device after each reboot, until you discover the fault. If the power supply does not react due to a short circuit, wait for at least 5 minutes before switching back on as the device is equipped with overload protection.

The system crashes, hangs or reboots:

Make sure that the air intake of the power supply is clean of dust, there are not air restrictions and there are not any heat sources such as radiators, stoves near the case. If a new higher performance graphics card has been installed recently and the system will not power ON, or it crashes frequently. The power supply might be inadequately dimensioned for your graphics card.
