  6. After installing the fin, fully inflate the board. The recommended pressure is 12-15 psi, with a maximum pressure of 15 psi.
  7. To protect the pump and ensure pressure accuracy, the gauge won’t register until 5-8 psi. The recommended psi is 12-15 psi.
  8. Do not overinflate beyond 15 psi, as this will void your warranty.
  9. If the valve becomes loose and starts leaking air, use the spanner/wrench from the repair kit to tighten it.
  10. To assemble the paddle, unlock all the knobs and extend the two blue shafts to the end. Adjust the lowest shaft until the pin button near the blade finds its place. Adjust the second shaft until the pin button finds its place. The black part of the shaft is adjustable, and all the knobs can be tightened or loosened.
  11. To store the paddle, unlock all the knobs, press the silver pin button in the middle, and pull back all the shafts to the end. Lock all the knobs to keep the paddle firm in place.
  12. To deflate the board, clear any water or debris from the valve areas. Slowly press down the valve stem to release some air pressure. Once the board feels loose enough, press the valve stem all the way down and turn it clockwise to lock into the OPEN position. Remove the center fin.
  13. Fully deflate the board by pressing the valve stem all the way down and turning it counter-clockwise to lock into the OPEN position. Fold the board vertically first and then hold it in small sections, starting from the back end (opposite side of the valve position).

TECHNIQUE USE YOUR BODY WEIGHT TO FINISH THE JOB

  • Assemble the extension handle of the pump for more convenience.
  • Use straight arms and body weight over the pump handle for best results, when the pressure builds on both the upward and downward motion.
  • Using bent arms pushing down- wards and upwards in this manner will cause early fatigue.Save your arms for paddling!

SETTING UP YOUR ISUP

  • The board can be inflated with your double action pump which provides air on both the up and down pumping action saving you half the time from other standard pumps.
  • Do not use an air compressor. It may result in damage to the board and will void all warranties. If you leave your board exposed to hot sun, check pressure and deflate to required pressure. Failure to do so, may cause stressing of material. Ambient temperature affects the tube’s internal pressure; a variation of 1°C / 1.8°F causes a variation of the pressure in the tube of +/- 4 mbar (0.06psi) After 2 or 3 days there may be a small decrease of pressure due to temperature change. If so, add few pumps of air.
  • Before undertaking a long paddle, inflate the board for a full 24 hours to make sure the boards is air tight. If you are seeing inconsistent decrease in air pressure, follow the instructions for leak detection in the board repair section of this manual.
  • Do not over-inflate the board. A max pressure of 15 psi is adequate. The easiest gauge of a good working pressure is to have the chambers inflate to a firm pressure when you press on them.
  • Do not pump to a high pressure and let the board sit out in the hot sun. If the board is going to be in a warm environment, slightly under-inflate the board and allow the heat from the sun to increase the internal pressure. When paddling, the colder temperature of the water may cause a slight loss in chamber pressure. It is a good idea to carry a pump with you so that you can add air to the chambers if necessary.

VALVE SPANNER

  1. The valve may got loose after several inflation/deflation.If it is leaking air around the valve, please use the spanner/wrench in the repair kit to tighten the valve.
  2. Use the valve-spanner to tighten the valve,if it works loose or in the case of hoving to remove and inspect or replace.10'6-Highpi-Inflatable-Stand-Up-Paddle-Board-FIG-7

BOARD CARE AND STORAGE

  • Inflatique boards are made from top-quality materials in order to provide greater protection from ultraviolet light.
  • However, to ensure years of flexibility and bright colors, avoid storing the board outside or in direct sunlight.
  • Before storing, hose off the board and let it dry completely to prevent mildew buildup.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals for cleaning. most dirt can be removed with mild soap and fresh water.
  • You may store the board inflated or deflated. If you deflate the board, we recommend that you store it in the protective bag that came with the board.
  • If storing the board outdoors, raise it up off the ground and cover it with a tarp to prevent exposure to the elements.
  • Hanging the board is not recommended.
  • Do not store in extreme conditions (i.e. above 66°C/150°F or below -23°C/-10°F).
  • Store in a clean and dry place.

FINDING AND FIXING LEAKS

  • Your board is made from highly durable PVC. If torn or punctured, the PVC is very easy to repair. It can be fixed using repair kit included. Read the following tips carefully to find and fix leaks.
  • If your board is losing pressure and it is not due to cold temperatures, check the board leaks, starting with the valves.
  • It is unusual for the valve to leak, but if you do not find the leak, we can send you a replacement valve.
  • To locate a leak, we recommend mixing soap and water in a bottle and sprinkling it over the valve. If you see bubbles forming, make sure the valve is tightly closed. If you continue to see problems, you can replace the valve using tools that come with the board and by following the instructions on the next two pages.
  • If the board is leaking air and the valves are all right, you could have a small puncture. Small punctures can be repaired easily and permanently. Sprinkle the board with soapy water until you see bubbles appear and mark the position of the puncture. If you do not see any bubbles, inflate the board to its maximum pressure and trying listening for the leak. If you can identify the area, sprinkle it with soapy water again to find the leak.
  • Punctures measuring less than 3 mm are simple to fix without a patch. Deflate your board, then clean and dry the area you are repairing. Apply a small drop of glue to cover the puncture and let it dry for approximately 12 hours.

SMALL REPAIRS

  • Your board comes with a standard repair kit. If you no longer have your repair kit, you can ask one of our agents for one. Cut the piece of repair material that is large enough to cover the damaged area by approximately 1.5 cm, rounding the corners. Apply glue to the bottom of the patch and around the area you are repairing. Too much glue can interfere with proper repair.
  • Wait until the adhesive is tacky (2-4 minutes) and then place the patch over the damaged area. Exert about 3-5 kgs of pressure for 12 hours. After the patch has dried, apply glue around the edges to ensure it is completely sealed (let it dry for 4 hours).
